Summary: Worth It!
Review: Graphics were great, especially in combat mode. The characters actually "fight," they parry, poke, strike, cut, etc. The plot was a bit standard, but the spell effects and visuals more than made up for the plot.

This is a great game and worth every penny.

Summary: Third Person RPG
Review: Having actually seen the game unlike the other reviewers, this game seems to have great graphics. It's similar to modern RPG's like Diablo 2 and Everquest, but not as crackfiendish. Good Stuff

Summary: Decent Story, But Lousy Game Play.
Review: I bought this game in hopes of purchising an exiting and happy game. However the music is creapy and dark, and half of the time you'r running through a dark dungeon trying to stab the guts through odd looking pirate people. Plus the graphics are pittyful. Their mouths barely move when they speak, and on top of that the combat mode is extremely boring, all you have to do is repeativly click the mouse until the enemy drops dead. But so far I'm not very far into the game so who knows, things might get better.

Summary: I've not only heard of it, I'm playing it & it's awesome!!
Review: I first downloaded the demo to this game ... and started playing the village section, then one of the city sections and finally the sewer section. Once I entered the room with the waterfall [and picked up my jaw from the floor], I knew I had to buy this game. Although I'm playing it on the PC, I'm sure the Mac version will be of the same high quality. But there is a drawback to the game.
I started to play on-line, where you can name your own character [you have 4 classes to choose from: summoner, fighter, thief or magic-user] and soon found myself in a world where I could join others or simply make my way around on my own. I hardly wanted to get back to playing the game.
The game is split up into sections for you to complete, you make one character take the lead and as the other 3 join your group they all tag along.
Fighting is done very easily and learning the controls takes very little time and you can adust the compueter AI {Artificial intelligence] to a script [for general fighting, range, caster or healer]that you feels suits the character, so the other 3 you're not leading with have an idea what their job is.
The animation is beautiful, you just point to a spot with the mouse and click and they are off and running to get there.
You have a great inventory and the weapons and clothing changes on the figure as you buy new ones and upgrade them.
It's a bit like Diablo and Baldur's Gate, but you can rotate around your figure 360 degrees and zoom in and out as well. Some of the puzzles can be tricky but that what message boards and friends on the on-line service can help you with.
I've played Diablo, Baldur's Gate, Might & Magic,Wizardry, Daggerfall and other RPG games but this one really got my attention and hasn't lost it yet.
The music some say is scarce and some reviewers turn it off, but like Diablo's "spanish guitar" background music, it will soon have you humming the soothing music they offer.
The only real drawback to this game that I feel it has is that the characters are made for you [like the Krondor series] and I do enjoy the ability to make your own that Baldur's Gate I and II offers.

Summary: Decent gameplay.. not much else.
Review: I Purchased this game with high hopes but was bitterly disapointed. The game play was quite ok but the repetitive running from one place to another bugged me a bit... I was also astonished by the poor quality of graphics (apart from couple of flashy special effects). Some of the reviews led me to expect quite the opposite... I wouldn't have bought this, had I had better knowledge of the game. I've played better games than this

Summary: Awesome
Review: I've tried this game, because I bought it the moment it came out and it rocks! I've never had such a radical game! The graphics are amazing as well! So is the sound! Buy it!

Summary: Cool scenery
Review: This game has great scenery.

The action play is good, but repetative.

The strategy play is slow and not so satisfying.

I enjoyed it once through but havn't returned to play it again.
