Summary: The Best RPG Ever!
Review: Diablo 2 is the very best RPG game, and probably the best game Blizzard has made. It's a huge universe full of items, monsters, skills, and quests to find and finish. Diablo has returned again... and this time he is better than ever. This game requires true skill to master. Unlike the first Diablo, more of the graphics change when you have different weapons and armor (when you put a cap on, the graphic changes to your character with a cap.) Choose the five character classes, each with 30 different skills. It is a long game to last, including 4 acts and 3 diffucutly levels to complete. Multiplayer is the bomb, you can make your actual character say 7 different sayings, their voices adjusting to the character class. As always, you can also type messages to friends. A good addition to multiplayer: the monsters get double hard for each player that joins a mulitplayer game. Also be sure to pick up the expansion!

Summary: A Truly Fascinating Game
Review: This game is great. It has variety. It has so many different items and the storyline is engrossing. The cutscenes are nice. And Battle.net is AWESOME! You can play with other people from around the world. And after you buy this you should buy the expansion. THe expansion is even deeper and has more variety. More items! And Battle.net is practically never disconnected! The graphics get better in the expansion. And the next person that says 'this game is all about clicking' i will literally smack. These people don't understand a depth to any game and don't explore a game completely! Well if they actually knew the controls they'd know that you can HOLD THE MOUSE BUTTON! NO CLICKIN' this significantly decrease the number of 'clicks' You may think I am just a twelve year old, but I know my games, and this game is notable. It is a MUST-BUY!

Summary: Ok, I've broken out of the stupor
Review: ...I finally broke out of the hyptnotization that the game had gotten me into, and now I realize this game for what it is...I didn't like the game...battle.net is a JOKE. Yeah, you heard me. B.net gets about as FAR AWAY from 'quality' as you can GET. Yeah, I just love getting disconnected every 5 minutes and racing straight into the Black Wall of Death, and not seeing my messages appear for 5 minutes, and not being able to pick up items!

For another, this game gets extremely tedious after your first month. It's fun, and then, after you've beaten the game 60 times, you realize it for what it is- clicking. Over and over. Then clicking some more. OH GOD THE CLICKING NEVER STOPS. EVEN IN MY HEAD. AAAARRGHHH ITS DRIVING ME INSANE.
Really, though, I can almost guarantee that for 60% of you, in 6 months, you will no longer be playing. Either that or you will have gone insane by the CONSTANT CLICKING ...This is not an RPG, not by a long shot. About the only thing it has in common with an RPG is choosing classes and experience points. For one thing, it has none of the complexity that many loved RPGs have. Some of us LIKE flipping through inch-thick manuals, thinking 'OMGZ THIS IS SO COOL'. Plus, I have not seen a SINGLE person role-playing...Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And this game is an enjoyable, wonderful game...for the first 3-5 months. Then the varnish all soaks off and you see the paint falling off the wood.

I would suggest buying this used, or waiting until it's somewhat lower priced...because you probably won't be playing it for a long time in the long run. ...

Summary: The diablo experience
Review: I thougtht the game had pretty good graphics cause the actoin I experianced during game play. It aint boring at all because the story kept me going and while I was playing I got more into it because the weapons are out of this world the special ones like the great "yew wand of the lizerd" it raised my iron golem to like three new levels.I like especially the way they used a necromancer that is who I was and when I raised the dead it was like I was there and I really liked the graphics of the monsters I feel as if it is the best game in the world. the shaman are the best things on the game.

Summary: The Simpsons of computer games
Review: That's right, this game is so addictive that I can compare it to the greatest show on Television. and no, I am not an emplyee of Blizzard Entertainment. This game merely represents what every person who has ever stepped near a computer game dreams about. It represents a compellation of thousands of factors that contribute equally to making this game one of the top-selling games of all time. Now, looking non-objectively at the game, you come to a logical conclusion that is a bit unerving: this game should not be fun at all. The millions who bought this game the minute it came out should have sent it back in a maddened rage. Sure, it's got an earily beautiful environment, great music, and expansive story line, but it's just LEFT AND RIGHT CLICKING! That's it, folks. But don't let that deter you from buying it. There is something about this game that is so fantastic, that even in using only two buttons, it is the greatest game that I have ever played and most likely ever will play.
There were times when my entire thought process was consumed by nothing but Diablo, when all I could think about was beating the game, beating it over and over and over. It's like a drug! And as well it should be, since visually and conceptually, this IS a masterpiece.
Some of the stuff in the game couldn't be emulated into a FEATURE FILM! Honestly, it's that good. And there's something about the grandure of the game, something that makes you say, "wow. I'm fighting the forces of hell, so I must be important,"
Additionally, the visual makeup of this game is quite pleasing. It features a stunningly gothic setting, one that makes you think, but sometimes in the wrong way. Yes, that's right, sometimes it get's too gothic. Blizzard's interpretation of what hell looks like (that's right, you fight in hell in this game) is a bit too scary for most people, even for me. There were times when I had to just say "man, this is way to freaky" and turn the game off. After which I would turn it back on and play for a few more hours.
Well, I'm running out of space, so I should cut this short. In retrospect, Blizzard has done it again. I'm also a Starcraft fan, and let me tell you, Blizzard knokws it's stuff. They are virtual gods of gaming. They take simplicity and make it seem so complex, so vital, that you will play their games for days at a time. So, if you love a good story, and enjoy playing games for long periods of time, buy this game.
One more thing: try not to play this game when it's dark outside. It's just too scary.

Summary: The best RPG, one of the best computer games overall
Review: This game is the best RPG and one of the best computer games of all time. There is five all new classes of characters with unique abilities and attributes.

Amazon: A powerful warrior woman in the nomadic bands. Her lifestyle is independent and can servive hard times. She has very good skill with the bow and arrow which rivals the rouge. She is good at throwing spears and other items, also she's good at hand to hand combat.

Paladin: Apart of the Knights of Westmarch, the paladin is pure at heart. He is a brave warrior whos faith lays at the shield, and he fights for what he beleives to be right. He is great at hand to hand combat and he can wreak creul justice to his foes.

Sorceress: Her powers lay in magic from the male dominated Mage-Clans. She lacks skill in hand to hand combat, but she can cast powerful spells in offence and defence.

Barbarian: Is the member of several tribes. He has a powerful and sturdy frame. He is great at hand to hand combat like the paladin and he has great combat skills.

Necromancer: He is from the south and a dark figure who is mysterous. His spells mostly have to do with raising the dead and summoning the contrel of other animal and other things. He has powers of nightmares, though his goals are good.

Summary: masterful. One of the best RPGs on the PC to date
Review: Blizzard, which released the groudbreaking RPG Diablo some years ago, is back. And they're back by kicking some serious arse.

The graphics of the whole game are above average, and the cinematics is amazing. The plot is orthodox, but it managed to get me hooked nevertheless. Even the research behind it managed to impress me, which doesn't happen too often.

The characters, my personal favorite being the Amazon (I love archers ^_^), offers a wider range of choices than it predecessor, which is most definitely a good thing.

Diablo II is the kind of game that would get your adrenaline pumping, at least as pumped as videogames can get you. It's pretty easy to get used to, whether or not you played Diablo before. I highly recommend it. :D

Summary: Like Vodka highly addictive but boring as hell
Review: Diablo 2 is not much different from the first.
This game is so addictive that it causes loss of sleep and you have dreams that your playing it and you cant quit. The graphics are pretty good but the game playing is kinda hard to understand and all you do is kill monsters and buy new weapons.
This game is pretty boring but it hipnotizes you into playing it. And plus Blizzard entertainment gets all these awards and shows off about it but when i play Blizzard games they dont impress me much.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good dose of fun
Review: The controls: They are pretty basic. You click on the ground to move there, and you click on monsters to start hacking or shooting at them. I like this setup- no pauses, you can assign hotkeys for different spells and attacks, and it doesn't take long to master.
The Graphics, sounds, etc: The graphics without the expansion pack are pretty pitiful- 640x480 resolution. The sound is good- creepy music and nice grunts and growls, etc. I experienced a few errors and freeze ups, but I can safely say that Diablo II is stable.
Plot, characters: The plot is pretty basic- destroy evil guy, kill monsters, recover items. The characters are nicely balanced, my personal favorite is the Amazon.
Note: This game is not for all people. If you prefer a more relaxed D&D style with dialogue and pauses, then Diablo II is not right for you. It can get downright scary running through a dark lair with monsters popping up all over the place and disconcerting music playing. The gore is pretty intense also.
All in all, Diablo II is a great game. If not for the graphics and the sometimes repetitivness of the game, I would give this a five star rating.
