Summary: D2 is the BEST!
Review: This is the best game ever! Anyone who rates this less than 5 stars is nuts! I just got the beta a little while back and I'm hooked! I cant stop playing! If your a fan of the classic Diablo 1, then youll love the sequel! And if your new, its easy to pick up on and become seriously addicted by! Diablo 2 is god!

Summary: Diablo II is coming, you should pre-order
Review: I have been playing the beta of this game like mad. Through sleepless nights, and long days - I've played this game longer than some other games I've had for quite awhile. You must buy this game - you'll regret it if you don't! There is a good reason why there have been 1.5 million copies already sold so far - let's keep that number climbing!

Summary: A ton of fun!
Review: I was a serious Diablo fanatic when it came out in 1997, and I'm not teenaged boy -- I'm a 39 yr old professional woman. When I got the chance to participate in the stress test during the final phase of testing for Diablo II, I was very excited. My first glimpse of the game had me calling all of my gaming friends telling them how *awesome* it was. This game is WAY better than Diablo and I cannot wait until the product is released! I'm even saving my last vacation days for when I get my (pre-ordered) copy. See you on Battlenet!

Summary: Same all over again.
Review: You would think with the time it took this game to come out they could have improved the graphics a little more than they did, but NO. It is the just a modified version of their lame role playing system that is just the old Tunnels and Trolls game system put out in the early 80's. They should have learn from other CRPG games that try and work similar to popular pen and pencil RPGs but they didn't. Wow, 5 characters instead of 3. Oh a tech tree for skills--never heard that before. Three words sum up this game...click, click click.

Summary: Pretty dang nice! Grab a comfy chair.
Review: Your wait is almost over. The BETA test is nearly through and everything seems stable.

But is Diablo as good as all the hype? Well, pretty much!

The game is visually stunning. Detailed landscapes throughout. BUT, 3/4 overhead view gets old. A change in game perspective would be nice.

All new music in the background with a few familiar elements. The music is better than in the original Diablo, but it's still there. It gets tedious, but it's easily tuned out. The sounds in the game have improved and are eerily realistic.

The most obvious improvement (in my opinion) is the click-and-hold attack. No more destroying mouse after mouse! Simply click on your target and hold the button down. You will continue to attack until your target dies... or you do.

The interface doesn't take much to get used to as it still resembles the old Diablo. It is fairly intuitive.

But, you want to know about the characters and monsters, don't you?
I won't talk about the new monsters, you'll just have to find out on your own! But I will say that some are quite easy to take down, while others will take quite a bit of work!
The five new character classes each have their own strengths and weaknesses. The new Skill Mapping in Diablo 2 makes you choose: Master a few a skills, or be jack of all trades, master of none?

One thing that has always drawn me back to playing Diablo is the ability to create a private game. Luckily, this is still in the game, and better! Now you can have 7 friends join you in the quest to destroy evil. You can be anti-social and social at the same time!

Look for new perks such as followers and your own private stash.

I've already pre-ordered my copy. If you're comping at the bit for this title, I'd suggest you do the same.

Summary: The Beta version alone is well worth the price tag!
Review: I have played in both beta test of this great game. Both of the beta tests have been watered down greatly from what the original will be, and is FANTASTIC. The bare bones of the game could be a big seller, but Blizzard gives you at least 50 times more than you bargained for. If you ask me this is the best game Ever. If you have ever played the Original Diablo and you thought that it was good, You will laugh at yourself when you play Diablo 2. You will not understand how you have EVER played Diablo 1.

Summary: This Game is awesome! A must buy
Review: Diablo 1 was an awesome game. Battlenet worked terrific except for the hackers. In Diablo, hundreds of weapon selections, 3 character selections each with unique characteristics. Diablo 2 Beta had a few bugs with the monster attack limit. On level 1, a skeleton could deal you 100 damage. In the final version, all these bugs will be fixed. Each character (of which there are 5) had 30 unique skills and spells, and different specialities in weapon wielding as well, I.E, an Amazon is a Bow and Javelin wielder yet the Amazon could wield a staff, but it would be pretty bad. You have more room in your pack to put things and you can also run, yet there is a limit to your running, it is called charisma. Some character's have more mana and health than others I.E, the Barbarian has hardly any mana but a whole lot of vitality. This game has excellent graphics and a terrific storyline. Get this game, it is awesome, you won't regret it.

Summary: Better than the first, but PKers already in beta
Review: The game looks good and has some nifty enhancements (a skill tree, for example, where you choose the direction in which your character's abilities grow), but it ain't the second coming. And, with PKers already infesting the beta, watch your back when you buy the retail version.

Summary: Currently Stress testing
Review: I've been stress testing for blizzard for the past week and a half and even though I can only play as the barbarian I'm hooked the same way i was/still am with Diablo. The gameplay is pure fun and the world is a whole lot bigger. The Rogue village alone is huge. I can't wait until the end of the month.

Summary: Diablo II
Review: I have been Beta stress testing Diablo II for the last two weeks and can not wait for the release of the final version.

Diablo II has the "Look and feel" of the original Diablo but with much better graphics. The Beta stress test only included the first two quests but was enough to make me a believer. If you are a battle.net online player you will love the enhancments to Diablo II. Players can join forces in "Parties" and a player must declaire him/herself hostile towards you while in town before he/she can attack you. No more pretending to be friendly then BAM.

The three CD game will be much more challanging and offers much greater choices and options. I have placed my pre-order here and am wating with bated breath for its arivial at my door!
