Summary: Diablo II
Review: This game is addictive. You'll spend hours after hours on this game and You'll never get tire of developing your characters... It's like seeing people developing their pokemons on gameboys. I would not recommend people with bad time management to play this game. One thing dissapoints me about this game is that it has one ending only...

Summary: Good Time Waster
Review: Overall its a great game. The gameplay is very addictive. When I first got it I ended up playing for hours on end, and still do. There are 5 characters you can be, however, they are very unbalanced. Barbarians will kill anything, while if you anyhign else you will have to work a little. The graphics are nothing special, but they arn't horrible. The one problem is there is not much replay value. The Nightmare and Hell dificulties get boring rather fast since its the exact same game as normal dificulty, but harder. It's basically the original Diablo with a lot ore bells and whistles.

Summary: Diablo II is the role-playing game.
Review: After such a wait Blizzard Entertainment has been able to conquer the software World of Role-playing again. Diablo II is not only entertaining to play but also very realistic. The scenes and details (shadows, background noises, creature attacks, etc.) were some of the best I played. The playability of the game was very understanding and easy to get use to. I used two characters on my excursion to kill Diablo. I used the Paladin and the Sorcerer. I found that the Paladin had an easier time to kill and move forward in the game. Although he did not have the combination spells' which that made the sorcerer fun. The 1st scene of the game, Rogue Encampment, was a time to understand the various new tools and capabilities that the game had to offer. As I mentioned I had some trouble getting use to the sorcerer. The Paladin plowed through the levels. The quests and the way that they lead in the game were intuitive. The 2nd scene, Lut Gholeim, was very impressive in the desert. The method that Blizzard changed the scenery was very creative compared to the previous version. Instead of going lower and lower in the ground they kept the game above the surface. I liked the fact that you can speak to more people, who gave you hints on how to play the game and find new items. I will not give the whole game away but I must say that if you want to finish the game fast play with the Paladin, or if you prefer a challenge then go with the Sorcerer. Have fun !!

Summary: Jumps over the competition
Review: This game is, in a 3-letter word, FUN. Nothing less. Yes, its hack-and-slash, and it doesn't have an awesome story (it does have awesome movies though). But, what do you expect, its not Planscape Torment. The characters are each really fun to play and the skill system is really well made. The game kept me awake for hours into the night at times (particularly when I got close to Diablo). The 4th act was really well placed and gave you the feeling of being in Hell (with a capital H). And the items... oh man. I loved customizing my characters with different items and I loved the trading system. Darkstone? Rage of Mages 2? No way. Buy this game.

PS by this time, Bnet is sooo much better.

Summary: It's here - the Relic of (slop)...
Review: I was hoping for a game that would keep me up nights.

I got a game I wanted to return for a refund.

Essentially, I found it dissapointing. The delivered, boring, buggy product was a far cry from the much-hyped "RPG" style hack and slash game.

At the core of it, it lacks fun - there's nothing there that makes me want to stick with it. It's lackluster - for all its polish, it's dull at the core.

Multiplayer is really only playable with a really fast Internet connection, and due to the problems that plague a stressed Battlenet, you're having a good day if a T1 can get a good game for you.

The quests are trite, and I can't work out how the game is so big when there's so little to do.

It'd be a shame if your fifty bucks this month were blown on this game when there's so many more deserving titles - Baldur's Gate II and Neverwinter Nights, to name two.

And if you really need that hack-and-slash? Buy Darkstone, it's a better Dibbles II than Blizzard made.

Summary: total waste of cpu cycle
Review: diablo is indeed a great game ...but with my p3/450_224mb_rage128fury_40LG/cdrom...some times it slows down to the point tthat i would think "my computer is going down" luckly diablo2 has not yet broke my system ... problem #1 : why the hell in gods name did they put a lock on the cdrom that is not easily duplicated to a virtual cd software.. problem#2 : too big..full install needs 1.1gig problem#3 : frequantly tortures the hardrive(realtime save) problem#4 : unless i upgrade to a voodoo i will never be able to enjoy visualefects (now thats where they suck)although 3dfx is great blizzard aint. problem#5: traditionally ? diablo doesnt support saving game (now thats some thing notgood) problem#6:most important for those none voodoo users .. d3d is supported however ,but anyone knows d3d is a waste of cpu & vga card compared to opengl..& diablo2 prooved it. thanks to blizzard. viva quake_engine ! reason to buy #1 : good design artwork and music. reason to buy #2 : good and simple story line. reason to buy #3 : exellent net work? gaming. so what am trying to say ? if you have enough storage, cpuspeed, ram, fastvga or voodoo try it.

Summary: Awesome game, a MUST buy for you!
Review: If your all the way down here, actually seeing my review, then trust me, you MUST buy this game:

Pros: -Best character developement ploy. -Monsters regenerate when you re-enter game, giving you plenty to cut, throw, curse, or cast a spell at. -New set items and great uniques and rares. -No more cheating online!! -Just lots of fun to complete the quests and reek the rewards. -Challenging to the already-fan players, hard enough for the newbies. -Mucho fun when in multiplayer trading, you can't get cheated!

Cons: -Cons? WHAT CONS?!?!? -Loss of sleep due to awesome content. -Laggy Battle.Net due to all the players.

This game is pure fun for you and me. Hell diffuculty is sure to shut up all those people who say the game is too easy. Stone of Jordan is sure to shut up all those people who say the items all suck. 4 Acts is sure to shut up all who say the game is too small. Random dungeons are sure to shut up all who say the game is repititive and boring.

People, Baulder's Gate fans have been leaving fake reviews so that they can make this game look bad. Don't listen to them, this game is just great. If you want Baulder's Gate, no one is stopping you. Just make sure you get this great game first.
