Review: Dis game is great. When i first heard about the Blizzard game WarCraft I scoffed but turned out to abosultely love it.Enter StarCraft. A friend traded it to me. The game is almost perfect. The gameplay is good and the graphics are exceptional. The graphics really dont matter to me though. But of course every game has it flaws. StarCraft's flaw have to be the number of units u can control. Only 12?? Pleez i have a whole fleet of about 30 wraiths and I can only send 12? The game is kind of hard to learn for the Protoss and Zerg because all their structures have weird names. Overall i will recommend this game to anyone who is a friend of the WarCraft series, and to anyone who loves a good solid RTS.

Review: This game is so addictive that ive played this every weekend for a year or so since i got this game.I love to get maps by playing on battle.net and you not only play regular battle,but you can use the campaign editor in the game to make new maps and plus with options for triggers to make things happen and changeing the units stats.The fun never ends with starcraft!

Review: this game is the most beautiful game i've ever played. the detail of the units, the sounds, the graphics are very well done. not to mention the fun factor of playing against online players. this game encourages you to think on your feet and develop different strategies to annihilate your opponent. of all the games out there, i would suggest this game. get the expansion set, too. its a must have for playing with even more units with different skills.

i've been playing this game since 98 and have been playing ever since. i was hooked on quake2 for a while. if you want to use your intelligence rather than just merely blasting away at foes, this game has your name on it.

Summary: Cool Game
Review: Before I got this game I'd have to say I wasn't really a gamer. I still am not. But this game really showed me how cool computer games can be. What's happening is that a bunch of parasitic aliens called the zerg are trying to destroy a bunch of planets the terrans(pretty much humans) are using. The protoss are trying to help but their advances are taken threateningly and the terrens turn against them. You don't know you're allies in this frenzy of combat. You can be either of the three races in the campaign mode and then you can play custom games where it's just you and the computers fighting it out to the death. What's so great about this game is the map editor. With a little technology called triggers you can make an RPG( role-playing game) with the StarCraft interface. It's amazing. Try the multiplayer mode as well. There are so many cool maps that you can play with other opponents on line.

Summary: An Exceptional Sci-Fi Stradegy Game!
Review: Like Blizzard, most if not all of their games are made into classics. Have you seen a non popular game made by blizzard? Lets see here; there is Diablo I & 2, Warcraft 1 & 2, and of course The Starcraft games.

I like this aspect of the game because of the controls and the fun factor of the game. I liked the diversity of the 3 races you can play and each advantages the unique races has.

I can see why 11 year olds kids can't into theese games, its too complicated minds. They like those simple mindless easy to play games. Starcraft does deal with stradegy, if you just make a million grunts and the opponent has ships and other advanced technology. The person with the best tactics win, don't get me wrong... Warcraft 2 was great also!

I'm a big science fiction fan, this game will keep ya playing for hours. If you're sick of all the darn tanks and military stuff like reality has. (Command and Conquer)

Starcraft is the way to go!

Summary: Excellent Game by an Excellent Company
Review: Starcraft is an excellent real-time stragety game. The game has 3 species that you can play. The computer AI is extemely well balances and the gameplay is easy to learn. It comes with a map editor to create your own battle grounds! I have lost many hours of sleep and have even got my wife and entire family to play the game. There has been many nights of playing till the wee hours in the morning and sleepy eyed going to work. This game I will recommend to anyone no matter the age. You don't even need a fancy computer to play (I have 4 systems in my house, a 750 Athlon, 500 AMD, 450 AMD, and a 90MHz Pentium) and all of the systems can handle the game with ease. Excellent play, low cost, can be replayable, excellent multiplayer action, excellent computer play, and a damn good storyline. Anyone who does not like starcraft just does not know computer games.

Review: I bought Starcraft because I liked Warcraft and loved Warcraft2. At first I thought it was okay. Then it got boring, and the mission objectives kept on changing. The whole game is just to shoot and kill all your enemies. I mean come on! The whole game is just boom, boom, boom. There is no strategy. It's the same over the internet. Blizzard could have done a lot better. I want my money back. You shouldn't get this game. By the way, I don't know why it's called STARcraft. almost all the battles are on land. This game is just a waste of money. I would have rated it -500 if I could. Get Warcraft2 instead.

Summary: bought it a year ago and it's still great!
Review: i got starcraft over a year ago and i still play it fairly often now. even after playing the game for so long and so much, i still haven't mastered the game and i probably never will. i played the single player game a little but i find playing with and against other people over the internet is the greatest part of the game.

there are 3 races each with different strengths and weaknesses and i've found that after a year, i am proficient with one race and have fair knowledge of the other two races. there are so many different strategies that it will take a lot of playing to get tired of the game. i've been playing for over a year and i'm not tired yet. if you do choose to play multiplayer over the internet, i would recommend a highspeed connection such as cable or dsl. i've played a couple of times over 56k and it's worked fine but only with 3 other players at the most.
