Summary: UT Rocks
Review: My father won't let me play this game but I have played it before and the way it thinks of every last detail is great. My favorite level it Deck 16 but every level could be my favorite its just so good.

Summary: One of the best for Macintosh
Review: The definitive online gaming experience, for both PC and Macintosh. The single player game is excellent with fairly intelligent 'bots. The biggest drawback is the built-in network game browser, which is sometimes slow (since it often returns 1000+ games), and does not offer filters to narrow down the immense amount of choices offered. The graphics and sound are absolutely awesome.

Summary: Combat excells, Team play iffy
Review: The way I see it is the following: Quake gets a quad damage railgun shot to unreals head as far as graphics go. And Quake Team Arena gets a Kamakazi at point blank with a couple dozen mines sitting behind Unreal as far as team play goes...

But then Ureal starts fighting back:

Random combat, Unreal headshots Quake with their all powerfull sniper rifle. LAN games, Unreal drops a flak grenade on their head... S'just that simple. I spent a few hours trying to figure out how to set up a lan game with Quake, and eventualy gave up. Unreal was easy.

Unreal also plays on more general range of hardware than Quake, which goes along with losing some graphics. But S'ok, who needs ultimate eye candy when you have a Bio Sludge flinging weapon?

The Team play of Unreal... Frankly bites, the engine just doesnt work for CTF at all, any camper with a sniper rifle or rocket launcher can take you out in one hit, and translocater kills are too easy to pull off for my tastes. But regardless, the combat picks up the slack as far as I'm concerned.

Summary: One of the best games EVER!
Review: This game has the most creative weapons, gameplay, and online play ever. The only bad things are you're gonna need a MEAN machine to play this game. I recommend 128 megs 'o RAM (minimum!) and at least a Voodoo 2 card or one of the newer ATI cards, not the . . . one that came in your iMac or with your B+W tower.

Summary: all hail to the tournament!
Review: this has got to be the greatest game ever developed to arrive on the mac platform (PS2 soon). I have spent entire days playing capture the flag and domination. The graphics are unbelievable, players lifelike, beautiful landscapes, the weapons are creative, fun and destrucive etc. The multiplayer mode is the best part of the game, as you will come across all kinds of different players with different skill levels, all on your favorite courses. unfortunately for me, the copy of my game on my hard drive just got corrupted and i lost my disc so now i have to buy it again....(as soon as i get the cash)

ps--i also have quake3, and while the deathmatch does rock, it does not even come close to equaling tournament's unreal gameplay

Summary: Best Multiplayer, EVER.
Review: This is an absolute masterpiece. I don't think that I've ever come across a piece of software more polished than this. The ammount of content that ships with this game is absoultely astounding! It may not be very well suited for younger audiences, but for 15+, this is excellent.
