Review: Chinese Now is an excellent program for language learning. I am more than satisfied by its effetiveness and what it has to offer as a product. I found that it has very few flaws and is for all ability level speakers. Chinese is a hard language to learn and so far this program is the best method I have found for myself. Its a 5-star program and a good buy!

Summary: Language Learning at its Best
Review: Transparent Language really has put together a great language learning program with its Language Now series, but the one I am writing about, Japanese Now, I am very fond of. This program takes a unique approach and uses immersion to teach you Japanese. It targets the important language skills of listening, speaking, reading & writing, and vocabulary & grammar. This program makes great use of technology using video, audio, and voice recognition all to help you learn and improve your language skills more efficiently. Transparent even goes to extra lengths by including additional content online such as articles in Japanese, word-of-the-day, and more to help expand and continue your learning. Japanese Now gets a 5-star rating because it brings language learning to its best for the PC.

Review: I never thought that I would be this impressed by a Hebrew language learning program but I love this. I was very impressed with the system this software uses to teach you the language it has everything from voice recongition (to correct your pronunciation) to games to literature in Hebrew. The variety of different ways to learn the language in this program, to me, is one of its greatest assets because there is so much of the language for you to learn(over 10,000 words and thousands of phrases) that a variety of ways to learn it is necessary. The program also has many conversation practices which I found to be very realistic, imformative, and even fun. This program really earns the 5 star rating and my review just touches the surface of what Hebrew Now really has to offer.

Review: Swedish Now is an incredible piece of software. This is a really good way to learn a language and this software takes advantage of everything technology has to offer in regards to language learning. It uses video, has extremely detailed audio features (you can listen to every Swedish word in the program), and uses voice analysis technology to help correct your pronunciation. When you get bored learning or feel you need to practice the Swedish you know before moving on there are some really fun and intresting games to help you practice. My impressions of Swedish Now is that it is well worth the buy and it will help you learn to speak Swedish.

Review: This product is a great way to learn Chinese fast, but for people who want to learn Chinese without no shortcuts, this isn't the prduct for you. This product does not even teach you how to write Chinese characters. You use romanized Chinese throughout the whole thing. In fact, there is only 20 more or less characters featured in this program. In order for someone to fully understand Chinese, one most know how to write it. Without the Chinese characters, you have to translate the romanized pinyin chinese to its natural form of characters by yourself. Buy this product if you only want a little taste of what real chinese is like.

Summary: Huge Amount of Content
Review: I was extremely impressed with what Polish Now had to offer in the means of content. Thousands of useful vocabulary and phrases which are taught through many ways such as games, dictation ect. I really liked the feature that allows you to slow the speaking of a word down so you can really hear the correct pronunciation well. The grammar tutorial that is included is very helpful. To me it seems like Transparent Language covered every aspect needed to learn and advance my ability to speak Polish. This program also makes great use of video and audio to help forward your learning. When all is said and done this software is well worth the buy.

Summary: Learn Gaelic!!!
Review: This program is great! I had been looking for Gaelic language learning software for some time before I had found this and I am very happy I did. This software has so much to offer for learning Gaelic. I really appreciated the extra online features that expand and support your learning, Transparent Language really goes the extra mile by offering this. Irish Now immerses you into the language with conversation practices that feature video and audio plus you actually speak back with a microphone for the software to analyze your answers. To me this means I can experience an element of realism that makes me almost feel like I'm holding a conversation with someone in Gaelic. The software contains a tremendous amount of the Gaelic Language to learn in many different ways, which will keep you busy for some time. Overall, I couldn't be more happy with this purchase.

Review: Portuguese Now will help you achieve fluency in Portguese. I was very happy and impressed with this software and I am really considering looking at some of Transparent Language's other language products. Portuguese Now deserves the 5-star rating for the following reasons: 1) It has the content for all ability level speakers- beginners to experts. 2) It teaches you pronunciation which is crucial for being understood by fluent speakers. 3) It does not leave beginners in the dark- gives you places to start such as an Aplhabet Reference and Grammar Turtorial. 4) Very impressive conversation practice methods.
5) Tons of useful vocabulary and phrases. 6) Very good practice games/activities and methods.
Portuguese Now offers an excellent language learning program and I would recomend it to anyone.

Summary: Review From an English Teacher (ESL)
Review: English can be a very complicated language to learn and teach. I teach ESL (English as a Second Language) and I have used this program in the classroom to compliment my actual lessons and the results have been surprisingly fantastic. My students loved using this program because it gave them good reinforcement on what they had learned in the classroom and even expanded their learning. One of the best things English Now was able to do was to help students work on their pronunciations of words through a microphone which the computer/software then compared it to a native English speaker's pronunciation. The students were also very fond of the many games and activities available and they too also helped. The effectiveness, capabilities and features of this program make it a great buy for anyone looking to learn ESL.

Summary: Learn Arabic!!!
Review: Arabic Now is a very good software when it comes to language learning. I was intrested in trying to learn a new language(s) and decided to try a different approach other than taking classes and I am very glad I tried this out. Arabic Now might seem a bit imposing at first but that is only because it has so much to offer. Most other language software out there lacks some crucial feature or aspect of the language but this program seems to cover everything from grammar to vocabulary to pronunciation to reading/writing and listening skills. With all this exposure to Arabic my ability to use the language increased rapidly and I was very satisfied with the results. Arabic Now is a great way to teach yourself Arabic!!!
