Rating: Summary: They've got it right this time! Review: I just recently purchased the third edition of WWTBAM and I can say they got it right this time. The graphics and sounds are good and unlike the other two versions, the questions don't run out as fast. Another plus factor is that the player can download new question sets at bvinteractive.com. Thus, one can be ensured hours of wholesome fun. The lifelines are also better and the results of the "Ask the audience" lifeline are shown on a grid, like the TV show. Coupled with the award winning music and Regis' commentary, you really feel the heartpounding tension. But I can't be biased and must say that there are some minor setbacks. Sometimes, the dollar value awarded to the question is unfair and spans across both extremes. All in all though, the overall game is superb and worth your money since it only costs $19.90. Go ahead and get one for "the third time's a charm"!
Rating: Summary: AWESOME GAME ROCKS AND ROLLS Review: I loaded up the 3rd Edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire expecting hours and hours of quality entertainment. I was sorely disappointed. After only a couple of hours of playing the 600 new questions were exhausted. With the 2nd Edition, which I have played for at least 10 times as much wihtout seeing repeat questions. This was $19.99 NOT well spent. Downloading the 'additional' questions only allowed for a few more rounds before my fun was over. Take my advice and stick with games such as 'You Don't Know Jack' or even the on-line version of Trivial Pursuit and you will be much, much happier. O'Doyle Rules!

Rating: Summary: Better than 1st edition Review: I've only been playing the 3rd edition of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" for a few hours, but it's better than the 1st edition. With this latest version, you can download additional questions from the Internet and add them to the game. However, as of September 1st, 2001, there are only 30 extra questions available. The website and instruction manual promise more are on the way. We'll see. Also, Regis' comments when you guess wrong are not as obnoxious this time. He's more compasionate. The graphics and sounds are basically the same as the 1st edition.

Rating: Summary: For the million, how many members are in the Jackson 5? Review: I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is the most digusting example of what society has come to. You see contestants battle it out on game shows with real questions for normal dollar amounts, and then you see complete idiots winning amazing sums of money for knowing that smurfs are blue. Do you really what to be challenged, buy a game show product like the new Jeopardy 2nd edition, or 100,000 dollar pyramid. ...
Rating: Summary: Great game, hard questions Review: In my first round, I did not get one question right. I am so used to the television version where the first questions are SOOO easy. When you don't get any questions right. . .you get a check (on your screen) for ZERO dollars. That was funny. At first my feelings were hurt by the barbs that Regis Philbin were shooting. But, after awhile I see that he was actually helping. This game comes close to what I have seen on television. . .just the questions are harder and the money is not real (no smile).
