Summary: Macintosh users finally get to play too!
Review: I finally get to play Millionaire at home. It was a shame they didn't do the original too but at least now we can play it on our imac. The game's a lot of fun - we've been playing for hours and still haven't beat it. My family strongly recommends this very fun game if you like the show.

Summary: Mass improvement, but not the overhaul others suggest
Review: While this edition does make significant inroads against what ailed the origional _Millionaire_, it's more evolutionary than revolutionary. I've read other reviews here that talk about massive improvements to the fundamental graphics and playabilty of the game, but I'm not sure what they're talking about. In fact, the interface is almost exactly the same as in the original version--which is to say that the 'Fastest Finger' portion is a pale imitation of what happens on the actual TV show, and the 'Hot Seat' graphics are simply replicated. The latter isn't so bad--the 'Big Dance' makes one sweat bullets just like the TV show--but it's highly disappointing that they didn't try to find a way to better approximate the 'Fastest Finger'. Truth be told, they've made that part of the game appropriate for more people than could reasonably be around a computer keyboard.

What they *have* significantly altered are the questions. They are massively more appropriate for the dollar amount being wagered than in the first edition. And there are many, many more of them. The 'playable life' of this game is therefore much greater than the hour's worth of entertainment you could expect to get out of its predecessor.

If you've not bought a _Millionaire_ game, this is definitely where you should start. If you bought the first one and were disappointed, this one will at least be worth the modest purchase price. Personally, I think Disney Interactive (now Buena Vista Interactive) owes all who purchased the first edition a free copy of this second edition, but that being unlikely, I can definitely recommend that you put your toe back into the Disney ocean.

Summary: Realistic CD Rom game of America's favorite show.
Review: I have played both the first and second versions of this game. The 1st version repeated questions almost instantly, causing the CD to be put away after only 5-6 tries. This version does have more questions, but 600? If you are a trivia junkie (as my husband and I are), this will not last very long. I believe they tried to capitalize a bit too quickly on the T.V. show and perhaps should have spent a bit more time developing a CD with more questions. The lifelines are great and as far as interactive computer games go, you won't find one as entertaining.

Summary: Let's Play!
Review: This is a great PC adaptation of the popular TV show. My in-laws all sat around the laptop and got together to solve questions. Great family game which encourages teamwork and problem solving skills. You already know the TV show. This is a lot of fun.

Summary: This game is great!
Review: This game is a lot better than the first one. It has better graphics, and you actually get to see Regis. This one is well worth your money.

Summary: GOING TO BE GREAT!
Review: I think that it is great that they are making a second edition because in the first game there were repeated questions. I am looking forward to buying this game!

Summary: Suprisingly Good
Review: The sequal to the original captures brilliantly the feel of the hit tv show. The first one was repetitve and sometimes the hardest questions were the 100$ ones, with this game, questions actuall make sense for the amounts and it really helps the actual game. Ive played my beta version several times, and am yet to get the same question, something that happened the 2nd time I played it. The game features new coments by regis like "so, you gonna make it your final answer?" and this time you actually see him instead of just his voice. This game has little requirments so it will work great on anybodys computers. With new questions, new voice-overs and new suspense, you can't go wrong, especially for just 20$. Pick this puppy up as fast as possible, because its gonna be HUGE!

Review: I a good Idea. Don't buy the first one. I havent played this game yet but I own the first and I think it gets boring when the questions repeat so get number II first
