Summary: I love this game!
Review: A friend of mine owns this game and we play it all the time.I am addicted. You can use a money cheat and become a millionaire or start out with the 20 thou they give you. Theives come at night sometimes, and if you are a bad cook or have a bad stove you can start a fire. The furniture and flooring/wallpaper comes in Many variaties so you can have a classy or wild home. Everything is important eg. if you don't buy a good fridge, you won't get fed as much when you eat from it. If you have a [bad] computer, it will break more often. Sometimes the game is hard because sometimes your Sim is hard to take care of. If you make htem less active they will be tired a lot. If they are not playfull, they will not have fun. The game is so fun once you understand it. i love it! I

Summary: The Sims
Review: The Sims is a cool game. You get to create people and control them. If you don't take good care of them they won' t listen to you. You have to build a house and furnish it, interact with other sims and stuff like that. (It's very addicting.)

Summary: Fun and challenging!
Review: I love the sims game! I have some other sim games and I love them all! The sims is such a fun game to play. You can't lose or win. It's like real life! You get to choose what your sims moods are and what they're appearance will look like. You can even create a sim that looks like yourself and control your own life in the sims! It's truly fun! Then they have objects that you can use. It's fun watching the sims enjoy or totally hate their lives. And it's all up to you! Then they have a camera mode where you can take pictures and make up your own family album or stories! It's a real fun game to play. But once you try it you'll never want to get off. It's just too fun. And if you are the one who loves to create things and people then sims is the one for you! I've never really played a game as fun as sims. Then to make it even better they create expansion packs to go with them so you could have more choices for your sims! It's cool!

Summary: Yes I am addicted
Review: I agree with previous reviewers. For no explainable reason I am addicted to this "game". Tinkering with the lives of these electronic people must satisfy some God craving.

I have all the expansions excepted Unleashed and have downloaded lots of addpons from the Internet. The open architecture makes this game endlessly playable.

Summary: WOW!
Review: All I can say is that this is the best game I've ever played.

Since you can do whatever you want and there's no real way to "win," there is no repeated gameplay aspect... it's like a new game every time you play...

Summary: Great Game...Gets Boring
Review: Let me start off by saying that this is the most unique game I have ever played! I never had so much fun just living life before. Thats basically what you do- live your life. You control all the sims that are in your household and you command them to do stuff [Eat, Go to bathroom, swim in pool, etc.]. You can buy new items from your house when your SIms start making money, and you can also expand your house [add a second floor]. How do you make money? Get a job! You can work as a Doctor, Entertainer, Stunt Performer, and a few more. Different jobs have different shifts, salaries, and promotions. To get a promations, certain standards are needed. If you are a waiter or waitress, you must reed up on cooking to get a promotion. Very Realistic!

So why did I only rate 3 Stars...Well after a while the game gets boring. The first month you'll love the game, by the end of the second month you will forget about it. There are so little items, carrers to choose from in this version of the sims...An expansion pack is desperately needed. THey make the game A LOT more fun. So if you are thinking about getting into the Sims series, buy an exapnsion along with the regular version of the sims...trust me!

Summary: Too Addictive, but Great.
Review: This game is great, except that it is addictive. I even found myself day-dreaming about this game during class. This game works great in MacOS X. If you are looking for a game for yourself or your kids, that is safe, I would check out this one. It is expandable with the add-on packs as well.

Summary: Fun for a while
Review: It's great that this game is finally for macs and works well. I found this game a lot of fun. You can make your own family, choose the way they live, and make them fall in love. I've been playing this for a few months, and I'm already bored. That's why I ordered an expansion pack (unleashed) so that i have some new stuff to use. I recomend buying this game, but try not to play it so often that you get bored!

Summary: It's okay
Review: I like it. On some reviews, I read that's this game is really good and addicting. I don't know about addicting, but I do like it. I like this game because it's like the game of life. You have to get to work on time (a car picks you up), keep your sims healthy, etc. In the beginning, you go through a tutorial to get to know the game. After the tutorial, you can create your own sims, then let them live in a house, and control them. In the beginning, there are 3 pre-built houses, and 1 lot where you can build your own house. Don't worry though. You can destroy a house if you don't like it and want to build one on your own. You can also delete a family if you want. Like I said, you're in control!

I dont know if other reviews have this code. If you want more money (who doesn't?), then after you pick a family and a house, during gameplay, press and hold down Shift-Command-C, type in "Rosebud" in the grey box on the top left-hand corner, then type in !;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!; until the grey box is full. Then press return. I don't know how many simoleans you earn (simoleans are what people call money), but it's a lot. Repeat the process for as long as you want. I think I saw somewhere that earning too much money is a bad thing, but I may be wrong. You never know.
