Summary: Boring
Review: I'm a HUGE Simpsons fan, but this game was one of the worst I've ever played! The graphics were awful, they looked like they had been made on a simple paint program. It was boring, everything does the same thing, and there aren't many places to go into. The idea is too simple, they should have put in some games. Its hard to find your way around, without the map you would be stuck. They only thing I liked about the game was seeing The Simpsons characters talk and stuff, and you can see that on TV anyway! All in all, this is a waste of time and will probably fustrate you more than you will in enjoy it.

Summary: Great looking but thin on gameplay
Review: On the postive side, it looks just like the TV show, and it contains all the Simpsons characters and Springfield locations that you'd expect to see. For a while, it's fun to poke around and see what happens when you click on this door or that drawer. Unfortunately, there's just not enough to do in terms of gameplay. There doesn't seem to be much object of the game other than to collect hidden "trading cards". If you're a Simpsons fan, you'll enjoy it for a while, but it's ultimately kind of a disappointment.

Summary: I love it!
Review: Speaking as a big simpson fan I really like this game! It's not as much a game as it is an interactive envirernment ripped from the show! The 3d when walking on the street is okay but the 2d areas look great!Plus the characters are voiced by the voice acters from the show. And there are many many events that fans will reconize from the show!Oh and it contains two new itchy and scratchy shorts!I could keep going on and on with the details on this but I don't want to waste your time.So I will finish by saying that if you are a simpsons fan get it!

Summary: Sometimes not even The Simpsons are enough...
Review: The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield has two major assets in that the animation and the voices come straight out of the television series. They are extremely entertaining, and practically perfect. But Virtual Springfield is ultimately boring and misguided--it's fun exploring Springfield for a while, but once you realize what the limitations are, and how little variety there is in the things you can see, hear, and do, it gets old kind of quickly. The game's "through-line" of collecting cards doesn't really do much to enhance the experience. If you're a diehard Simpsons fan, you will find much to admire about Virtual Springfield, but there is ultimately little to like or to give more than an hour or so of your time.

Summary: Great Simpsons game!!!!!!!
Review: This game is fun especially for the Simpsons fans. I like how you can walk around springfield and explore everything. I love going to the school. The Simpsons house is the best but you'll get a kick out of the Flanders house. In every place there are a few mini games that are fun for a while. If you like the Simpsons GET THIS GAME NOW!!!!

Summary: Virtual Springfield
Review: This game is GREAT! Rainy day out? You stuck at home on a Friday, the Simpsons just went off, and you're very bored? Well, just pop in the CD and go! Around Springfield! You can wander any where from across the bridge to the Old Folks' home and Cemetary to Lookout Hill where Bart will sometimes perform a fantastic jump with his skateboard, into the heart of Springfield, the Simpsons! Cast members wander around the town reguarly and speak funny comments. A huge choice of places to go, from unfamiliar streets to familiar Kwik-E-Marts. No matter what you pay for this, you get your money's worth.

Summary: What Simpsons Fans Have Been Looking For
Review: This is a great game. Shortcuts and hidden objects pop up everywhere, and there's something new everytime you play it. However, if you're a new Simpsons fan and aren't familiar with the show, you should probably purchase something else, as many of the jokes are references that non-Simpsoniacs would not get. With that said, if you're a hardcore Simpsons nut, buy this now! If not, go with The Simpsons Cartoon Studio.

Summary: A bit of a dissapointment
Review: Virtual Springfield is a great game for fans of The Simpsons. The problem is after playing it a short while you have pretty much done everything. I mean there is not really an objective to the game. Of all the simpson games ever made, this is the second best.

Summary: OK for 1hour with all the cheats but then.......
Review: Virtual Springfield is fun for the Simpson top's fans but only for a while, it's a game where you can check out the Simpsons Springfield, the graphics are not to be very proud of and there aren't many places to visit, or at least places where you can actually do anything.....the music is horrible only the old simpson song over and over again, this is not even close to be a good game. (spend your money on something else unless you really are are true fan of the Simpsons.. that's why i bought it) and I wasn't to happy about it.

so in the end its not a game to reccomend with
