Summary: The Sims Hot Date
Review: This is the ultimate expansion pack for all sim lovers with a mac. It's awful that they come out with the mac version so late but owning a mac myself I've played the Sims Hot Date on a pc and it's incredible. Finally your sim can go somewhere else besides the front lawn. (They can go downtown, you can build malls etc.) Pre-order this game is my suggestion. Without this game you have not completely felt the whole Sims expirence!
(I also am a 15 year old but currently not an Amazon client)

Summary: nice but a few BIG problems!
Review: WATCH OUT! If you purchase a Guinea pig for your sim, they can become deadly ill (This happened to my family) and there is no cure, unless you already own "Sims Livin' Large".This game is really cool, it offers lots more options on talking, hugging, kissing, saying hello and goodbye, it also adds a bunch of interactions like: poke, leap into arms, and many other things. But the downtown is nice too, you can meet loads of random Sims, and you can buy hotdogs, sit in fancy restaurants, you can also get them to get picnic baskets, and feed fish in fish ponds. One of the reasons this is not a 5 star review, (other than the Guinea pig disase) is that at first (well at first for my computar) it was very, very slow, and it was hard to controll my Sims. Another complaint: kids can't go downtown! I wanted my three Sim kids to go downtown and it wouldn't let me, that's a BIG reason why this review is 4 stars! I may have a lot of complaints, but that is basicly it, and there are a bunch of good things about this expansion (it's one of the best) and I recomend it, but more for the new interactions, then the downtown (although the furniture is pretty neat)

Summary: THE SIMS
Review: WELL I JUST TO TELL VIEWERS HOW FUN THIS GAME IS. I'AM AN INTERIOR DESIGNER AND THIS GAME IS JUST PERFECT FOR MY JOB! MY KIDS GOT ME INTO IT AND I JUST WANT THE CREATORS TO KNOW THAT THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH IT. ITS SO REAL AND ITS SO FUN FOR ME AS A PARENT,TO BE NOT A PARENT ON SIMS. ITS SO UNBELIVABLE.
AND THE PRICE FOR IT IS GOOD!!

Summary: This is technological discrimination!!!!
Review: WHY is The Sims Hot Date the newest, coolest, most popular new Sims expansion for Apple, when, to PC users, Vacation is old news and Unleashed is dead ahead? Anyone? I didn't think so. Apple is THE computer of the future, and it's not fair that we Mac users have to wait MONTHS for the best games, and when they (the games) DO come out, there are always technical problems. Hot Date, Civilization 3, Sim Theme Park and Black and White are some of the technologically demanding games that will force you to download patches, crash your computer, and make you spend hours on installation.

Summary: Hot date=hot game!
Review: WOW! I started playing the sims pretty recently on my roommates computer (PC). We just had the original sims. Then, when Hot Date came out for PC, we bought all the other expansion packs and I was blown away.

Everything else was really just add-ons, cool skins, new walls and objects, but Hot Date totally rocked! You get new characters, TOWNIES that your sim can interact with, and if things get going, bring home...tons of really cool new building stuff. Loads of new interactions so that building a relationship is MUCH harder. You really have to pair two sims up, rather thann just stick em together and if they talk enough they will fall in love. In Hot Date you have tons of different kissing styles, hug styles, cuddling options and chat options. Its great, your sims can hold neat conversations!

What I am concerned with is the fact that the release date keeps being postponed. I know when they finally release Hot Date for MAC it will rock, maybe more than the PC version because they will have worked out the bugs.

Keep the faith simmers and mac users, oh and BTW, there is a new program not associated with maxis or aspyr called SKIN SHRINKER that will change PC skins for mac, so all thsoe pesky renaming of downloaded skins is over! Happy gaming!
