Summary: IT COOL BUT HARD!!!
Review: I thought that it was really cool taking yours sims on a date!! It is a little hard for them to fall in love but you well really enjoy seeing it if you do get it!!!! After that you can get married!! And then you can adopt or have a baby after you fall in love! But it is really hard work to get a baby or even get married. A lot of kissing and hugging! Make sure to take a lot of pictures!!

Summary: HOT HOT HOT !!!!
Review: I would have to give this four stars instead of five stars coz after a while it gets a bit boring.
In Hot date, your sim can kiss in different forms(peck on the cheek to a hot firey kiss)and can also play around in bed.
The bad bits about this are some of the stuff that you would do on a date is cut out.For example, you don't always take people out to resturuants, what about the movies?
A good thing about it is that you can design a shop, park or resturuant, but if its a highly excusive posh resturuant people just turn up in jeans and a t-shirt,not all fancy.
At first this was really fun,but now,not so much

Summary: Hot Date for Mac
Review: I'm fourteen but I didn't want to create a new account with Amazon, so here I am on the kids reviews. From what I have read in the past few months, this game looks like it will be the best expansion yet for The Sims. It's too bad that it is released so much later than the Windows version, but it just gives people something more to look forward to! I will definitely buy this game, and maybe Prima's Official Stradegy Guide for it.

Summary: The application "The Sims Hot Date" has unexpectedly quit...
Review: I'm not going to bombard you with a bunch of techinical junk you won't understand, but I have an Apple that's newer than the game, and I can't play for five minutes without a crash. The Buy and Build modes usually work fine, as long as you're not using the new Downtown feature. If you start the Live mode, however, it will "unexpectedly quit" before you've played two minutes. DON'T BUY THIS GAME! Sorry, Amazon.com, but Apple users should stick with house party. I would have given this one star, but it's an excellent concept, and, theoretically, you could play for hours.

Summary: Fun but hard to find a date
Review: Neat idea - get the Sims out of their houses and have them interact. The only problem? This is a HUGE memory hog! It's fun but make sure you have enough free memory to run this.

Summary: parents beware
Review: Parents beware! This seems like another fairly harmless Sims game, but your child may be entering an area where you don't want them to go. I was horrified to discover my neighbor's child playing this game with my daughter, making two females fall in love and go to bed. They actually play in bed. She was able to take a naked "picture" of two Sims in bed without the blur. This game is totally inappropriate, even if my children were 18. I thought this game was harmless, but I was wrong. Beware! We have deleted this game from our computer.

Summary: Downtown not all it's cracked up to be
Review: Pro's and Cons for Hot date:
Pros:
New Social Interations - lots of kissing, hugging, cuddling etc..
Ways for the Sims to get out of the house is definitely a bonus, and it's also stupid that they couldn't leave the house in the first place!!
New Hot Tub, and other items to help with dating, like buying items at the mall though they are very limited - roses, jewelry, swimwear, lingerie, and formal wear, candy and teddy bears.
Yoou don't lose time while downtown, you can go at 7:00 pm and stay all night and when you arrive back home it is still 7 pm, even if your Sims are falling down with exhaustion.

Con's
The downtown area is very slow, even slower the more characters you have in your game.
It's harder to make friends and keep them.
Your energy levels seem to disapear a lot faster while downtown.
I tried to make an Espresso bar for downtown to help with this problem but the Espresso machine is not available in downtown creation. nor is the coffee machine.
I have lost newly created businesses for downtown, every time I create them even though I saved them, I have made changes to existing businesses and the park and they won't be there for a while and then suddenly turn up a week later??
The people you take downtown with you don't seem to be able to go to the bathroom on thier own, you have to go in order for them to.

I Loved the original Sims when I bought it and got hot date because it seemed to be the one that offered the most social interations, but I think Livin Large would have been the better investment.
