Summary: Do not buy this package! Here's why...
Review: According to the Denver Post, Monster Cable has been suing many companies with the word "Monster" in its title, including Disney (Monsters, Inc.), and Snow Monster (a company that teaches children how to ski). This is purely a greed-driven, corporate money-grab. Big businesses, like Disney, will find it cheaper to settle, while the suit will sink smaller businesses unable to afford the legal fees. Consumers have called a boycott on the Monster Cable company.

Furthermore, the cables are junk - and they break a lot, and are not worth the money. Like the other reviewer said, cheap cables will work just fine, for about a 10th of the price!

Summary: Not needed
Review: Cheaper to go to Radio Shack or most stereo stores and get exactly what you want of equal quality at a lower price.

Summary: That's it? A $6 dollar cable and a $14 cable?
Review: I was very disappointed when I received this to see that it was simply a package of two cables. Cables that you can pick up at Radio Shack for MUCH cheaper. Just ridiculous. The Airport Express itself is fantastic, but skip this accessory and go to your local Radio Shack for the mini-RCA cable, and a quick search online for the optical to mini.

Summary: Completes the set for your Airport Express
Review: The cable set that comes in this item is what ought to have been included in the Airport Express. This comes with a 2 meter RCA-ministereo, a 2 meter Optical-ministereo, and a 6ft power cable. I found that both the RCA and Optical cables worked flawlessly with my receiver. I wish that the power cable was a little longer and I would've liked to have received a white ethernet cable to complete this set. The installation of any of these cable went very easily with the on caveat that you must ensure to remove the covers on the optical cable which may not be obvious to some.

Summary: not needed to connect Airport Express to stereo
Review: While this might be handy if you need the power extension cord, it definitely isn't needed at all to connect the Airport Express to your stereo. Instead of buying this kit, I just went to Radio Shack and bought a mini-stereo 1/8" jack to RCA cable adapter for under $5. This is simply a y-adapter. One end has the 1/8" mini stereo jack (same as headphone jack) that plugs into the Airport Express. The other end has two RCA cables (red/white, left/right channel) and goes to any audio IN (AUX IN) on your stereo. These can be found at other stores as well, probably even Amazon. It works and sounds great! And the Airport Express is awesome!
