Summary: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!
Review: This product is amazing, I had a CD that was completely unplayable that I just fixed as well as a DVD that was completely unplayable. To the people who have problems, READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST, it will play, it won't look as new as you want, but it plays just fine. To the person who wrote about residue: what residue? The SkipDr uses nothing but water, I've never heard of water leaving residue. Don't be stupid people, this product isn't made for the stupid.

I had 2 Ps2 games and a Data cd rom that were completely un playable.
Game Doctor fixed all disks with out a hitch

Summary: Whats worse, Skipping or not playing at all.
Review: Well, today I purchased this "wonder." I took it out of its package, read over the directions VERY carefully, then grabbed my kids favorite (read destroyed) DVD. It played but had large sections of skips. I followed the directions to the letter. When I was done, I slapped the "new and refinished" disk into my player and BAM...nothing! Now the disk won't even play. I re did the resurfacing JUST to make sure I didn't screw it up. Next try...same thing... Player will not read the disk. I even went a step further and tryed my DVDROM seeing as it will play damn near anything that reflects light. Nothing. 1 disk dead, 2 unhappy kids and 30 dollars later I'm sitting here with a piece of junk. SO, as to make sure it was not user error, I grabbed a VERY beat up but not so watched disk, same thing. My advice is to be VERY cautious with this product. I have wasted over 60 dollars now (30 for the SKIPDR and 15ish each per DVD). I wish I would have known better, I would have saved the $$ and just bought the disks again.
