Summary: Good for Beginners? Maybe. For an Experienced User? No.
Review: Arcsoft Photostudio is included with the Canon LiDE 20 Scanner, and is easily the weakest part of the package. It's incredibly cumbersomne, and cannot handle large images, even on a machine with 768MB of RAM. I've uninstalled it, and use LView Pro instead.

Summary: This is the BEST photostidio I've seen! and I've seen many
Review: I do some fancy photo editing, like smothing out wrinkles, changeing color tint, adding to and altering pictures....and this program does it all. In the past I have used 2 MGI photosuites and Microsoft paint to edit pictures, and I had to move between all 3 to get all the features I needed to edit each picture. This single program has all those features and more!

Summary: Great for beginners, easy and powerful
Review: Photostudio 2000 is great photo editing software for beginners. The features in this software are easy to use and easy to understand. Beginners will find everything that they need in this software and enough additional features to grow into a better editor. One task that most people want to use easily is the red-eye removal and Photostudio 2000 makes that easier than any other software title I have used. A few clicks to zoom in on the eyes, a click on the red-eye button and a few clicks on the pupils and it is done. The clone feature is great to remove unwanted background objects, the smudge feature is easy to use and helps to hide blemishes. Removing a person from one background and adding them to another is a breeze with magic wand, invert and crop. This is absolutely the easiest and best software that I have found yet and I feel it is better than Adobe PhotoDeluxe Home. I find it easier to use anyway.
