Summary: This is a great value.
Review: ...This is only my second clip art product purchase. The first one cost me a lot of money for 40 or so CDs and a pretty manual. The CDs were a nightmare to keep track of and use, and the pretty manual went in the trash, as it just wasn't useful. After receiving this product, within 10 minutes I was viewing, finding and using images from the CDs. This product is really easy to use. It's also become a favorite of my 6 year old! I had a few questions initially on how to locate specific images in the collection and found the answer quick on their website. They provided a detailed CD index for download on their website, then I was off searching. I'm not sure how IMSI can offer this many images for such a low price, but I'm glad they do! Plus, I haven't found any other clip art product that has anything close to the number of images this collection has - and most of those smaller collections are more costly. This is more clip art than I can use in 3 lifetimes, but I really like the large selection to choose from. Thanks, IMSI.

Review: I did lots of research on various clipart software before purchasing this product. I was satisfied with a previous version of IMSI Masterclips (Masterclips 303,000) that I borrowed from a friend. You would assume that the latest version would be even better, of course. Well, I assumed incorrectly. I am extremely disappointed with this software. I gave it a rating of "1" only because that is as low as you will allow me to rate it. The software consists of 12 CDs, which are horribly organized. They claim that they are organized in an intuitive manner, but I beg to differ. Previous versions contained a reference book for easily locating a specific piece of clipart. This useful reference was left out of this edition. In addition to the lack of organization and proper references, I was also not very impressed with the clipart itself. If you absolutely insist on buying clipart software from IMSI, stick to Masterclips 303,000.

Review: I have given this product a "1" for lack of a lower number. It is really bad. The presentation is so cheap-looking that it is obvious cutting costs was the most important thing considered by the company. I could not find exactly what was on each CD by just looking at the packaging (as was the case with another version) because each one was packaged in a generic sleeve (white, no print) that did not specify what was on each particular one. There was no manual either. Easy to use? Don't believe it. I have Windows XP and I felt it was not REALLY compatible. I called the company and sent e-mails requesting assistance in installing, etc. and I never got a response from them. Bad product, worse customer service. Another problem, which they do NOT mention when they advertise the number of graphics (over 1 million)is that you have to subscribe after a year to have access to that many. That, to me, is false advertising.
I had a previous version and was happy with it (gave it away when I switched to Windows XP as it was not compatible), but I will never buy another product from this company. I just bought "Art Explosion 600,000 Images" by Nova Development Corporation and it is very nice. What you see is what you get--600,000 images, no membership. It comes with a nice, hefty 1,300-page printed image catalog. IMSI, if you read this, remember, customer service and a good product are the reasons why companies stay in business.

You may (with much struggle) get "ACCESS to" at an online internet site. When I buy clipart I want to OWN the clipart -not just a subscription. I'm still on dial-up 56k internet and downloading images is slow. The interface is hard and a typical PC style hassle and I wouldn't let my kids near it. We use Macs also for our graphics and their "browser" style application is not compatible with Macs. Don't waste your time or your "bucks".

Summary: Don't waste your time or your money with this
Review: I too have bought clip art from IMSI for many years. Every time I was happy. This time, I'm thinking I'm getting a huge library of clip art. NOT. I'm getting unlabeled CDs (I finally stumble on the file that has the listing - after I went through them all) only to find out that most of these images I got on previous versions of their clip art. THEN I find out the rest of the 1.5M images are only available for a year on line. No, I'm not happy. I'm certainly going to think twice before I buy their product again.
