Summary: Easy product for quick digital scrapbook pages
Review: Even though I am an experienced user of Photoshop, Corel Draw, and Pagemaker, I still found this software useful. It is like having the basic tools from those programs all in one application. It is especially good if you can't invest in those expensive applications. Even though the premade templates are somewhat limited in themes, I found it very easy to modify them, and create new ones very quickly from scratch. My major complaint is that the program is really slow when importing high res photos. It's also a bummer that you can't export the finished layouts. But I have found it very useful and fun for super quick layouts.

Summary: Scrapbook Factory Deluxe is the Greatest!!!
Review: I absolutely LOVE this program and totally agree with the lady that found it to be one of the best programs that she owns. I have had no problems with this program locking up or anything. I made our Christmas cards on it this past year and got lots of compliments. I also made scrapbooks as gifts for Christmas and got many compliments on my work. This is a wonderful program and I am so happy that I purchased it!!!

Summary: I love this program!
Review: I almost didn't buy this program because of the negative reviews. But having worked in retail before I realized that people are more likely to complain than say anything posative. I love this program. I could go on all day about it. I have so many ideas for projects, and thats great because there are endless possabilities with this program! You can make your project as personal as you want it to be. Add graphics of your own, or alter their graphics to suit your mood. You can add pictures, and make them look antique, as well as shape them into various shapes and styles. Add text here, lighten here, change colors... it's fabulous!! As far as the pictures printing out clearly, I've had no problem. Of course when altering your pictures if you force it into a shape that the pixels can't accomadate, certainly there would be some problems. Digital pictures work best, but my scanned ones have done well too. Just have fun, and play with it. I would reccomend this program to anyone interested in a unique and fun way to save their memories.

Summary: Disappointed!
Review: I bought this product and love the results on my screen. Unfortunately, it does not look so beautiful anymore when I print the pages out. The preview and printout are fuzzy as if in draft mode. All my other applications print out just fine. I contacted Nova's technical support, but the only help they offered was to send another disk, which did not solve the problem. Now they ask me to be patient, while they try to figure out my problem. I have waited a few weeks now and am very disappointed. No matter how great the software is, if there is no real technical support, its worthless.

Summary: A rip off. Buy Hallmark Scrapbook Studio instead.
Review: I bought this program on a whim from CompUSA without first checking out reviews. I really regret that I can't return it. The pre-made templates are awful looking. They are very computer generated looking unlike Hallmark's scrapbook studio. I can't comment on the user interface because I haven't bothered using the program much after discovering that: - You can only print out your projects. You cannot save them as a jpeg or another other standard file format. I use my printer for some of my scrapbook pages but others I want to have printed professionally on photographic paper (like from Shutterfly.com). Can't do that from this program! - You cannot export any of the graphics that came with the program to use in another program (for instance Photoshop). Sometimes you just need to tweak a graphic. Hallmark Scrapbook Studio allows you to export graphics as JPEGs. - If you read the licensing agreement carefully, you find that you are not allowed to use any of the graphics for commercial use. This means that if you create something with this program you cannot sell it. Again, Hallmark Scrapbook Studio does not have this limitation. Mind you, Hallmark Scrapbook Studio has some shortcomings too. But that's another review.

Summary: This is AWFUL
Review: I bought this program ready to scrapbook pictures of my children and pictures of a baby shower that I hosted. It was fun getting the pictures organized in the templates, but once I started printing everything came out .... The pictures were blotchy and ugly looking and everyone's face looked like they had some spotted disease. When I called tech support, they told me my pictures were too big. If I had known the pictures had to be 72 dpi or less, I would have never committed myself to this product. Beware, it looks like a good product, but remember looks can be deceiving.

Review: I found this program to be very fun. Some have commented on poor templates and not looking further--look further. It is what you make of it. I have created many pages from scratch, using their backgrounds or creating new ones. They have enough clip art/fonts/borders for most tastes. I like the fact that I can fade objects, etc... Doing all this on the computer and being able to change something with just a click is a plus for me. I would buy this again

Summary: Scrapbook Factory Deluxe Rating...
Review: I have owned the Scrapbook Factory Deluxe for about six months now and really love it. The program makes beautiful pages, cards, label, and even family tree pages. I can honestly say that I use the program at least every couple of days and find it very easy to use. The program has premade templates to use or design your own. I am extremely happy with this program and highly recommend it to others.

Summary: This is a solid product I think you will love
Review: I know some people here have had some problems, and I was nervous to open that CD and commit to it, but I'm glad I did. I did three fabulous complex pages with templates and custom text and pictures in under 15 minutes. I printed them out without a hitch and everything looked lovely with both resized pictures and fonts I had before the program and special fonts that came with it. (You can, however, expect some font problems if you try to print it from a machine other than the one where the software is installed. This is true with any software.) I will say it was a bit slow, but overall I was able to create a beautiful page with cutout pictures (no problems making complicated crops like the Hallmark sofware) and print them myself for about $1 a page, when traditional scrapbooked pages would have cost several dollars for the photographs, special paper, die cuts, stickers, and printing text. There are about 200 preset scrapbook templates (the 2000 advertised includes cards, web pages, etc.) and hundreds and hundreds of backgrounds, graphics, and borders to create your own. I managed to create jpgs with a workaround by exporting as HTML then saving the picture it created on the web page. I'll stick a page with samples on here although ... If you take digital pictures and also scrapbook, this really is perfect perfect perfect for you!
