TurboCAD Professional features the latest in ACIS 3-D solid modeling technology, interactive/photorealistic LightWorks rendering, textures/materials, Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications, and compatibility with version 6. It also now supports OpenGL rendering, AutoCAD/MicroStation file sharing, integrated Internet browsing, and integration of computer-aided design's most valuable 2-D and 3-D tools, options, and content. It features all industry-standard dimensioning types, with advanced options such as associative dimensioning, multiple unit types on one drawing, dual units in one dimension, geometric tolerancing, surface roughness, and user-defined text strings in dimensions. There is a complete complement of snaps for linear and nonlinear objects, including endpoint, center, divide by, intersection, center of 2-D or 3-D object, center of surface, and more, with options for snap indicators, geometric alignment aids, trim tools, meet lines and arcs, parallel and perpendicular construction lines, comprehensive zoom, pan, dynamic pan, and zoom to selection. TurboCAD offers full 2-D and 3-D Boolean operations--add, subtract, and intersect--resulting in regions for easy creation of "island" profiles without losing any of the underlying geometry, making them ready for extrusion and/or rendering. There are floating and shaped viewports in any closed shape, changeable on the fly, with 2-D and 3-D model editing available directly in the viewport, and integrated snaps layering and rendering controls. TurboCAD's multiple paper space allows multiple pages per drawing, each with its own independent parameters (size, grid, units, etc.) with Excel-like tabs for switching between pages. You can use Attachable Camera Objects to define a precise 2-D or 3-D model view. As the camera moves, so does the view. There are also more comprehensive drawing and editing tools and more advanced drawing intelligence than found in TurboCAD's standard version. And the interface is completely customizable to the user's needs, with multiple saved interfaces possible, including options for interfaces similar to AutoCAD and MicroStation, among others.
