Rating: Summary: Tickling grandma' s toes Review: Althought my 2 years old son does not speak English(Only Turkish his native language), the animation of this living book attracts his attention very much, especially the fact that by clicking on each and every item, he gets a reaction, makes him a fanatic of this software. His favorite is tickling grandma' s toes, last time we did it was over 20 times. Greetings
Rating: Summary: My two year old grandson fascinated by Living Books Review: I am amazed at my 2 yr old grandson, Mason, who can work his way through the entire book, pointing and clicking away. He was 2 yrs old July 5th and had already been using Living Books prior to his birthday. I find the book delightful and get as much enjoyment watching him. I read the development report and was surprised at how much goes into making all of this work and retain a child's interest. It has to move rapidly, good sounds and speech, you do not have to read a manual to use the CD, the instructions are verbal and easy to follow. If I can do it, so can a 2 yr. old.
Rating: Summary: buying my second copy Review: I can't think of one of them that isn't liked by my sons. They are all great. I really like the fact that there aren't too many activities. Sometimes with other games, my kiddos get distracted by an activity and forget what they were working on... but not with Living Books... GREAT for any child, but especially for an autistic kiddo....

Rating: Summary: buying my second copy Review: I have been playing this with my granddaughter since she was 3; at 5 she still loves it. In a recent move it was lost somehow; yesterday we both agreed we needed to find a new one--we miss one of our favored ways for spending time together. She loves being able to hear the different languages, and being able to point at the separate words to change the story line.
Rating: Summary: A brilliant story for kids everywhere Review: I teach English as a second language to Chinese children and the CD-ROM is a real boon to me. I have used it with kids of ages 4-11 years, even the adults love it. The characters and content have universal appeal and the 'story' is very simple.
Rating: Summary: Sentimental favorite Review: Just Grandma and Me was the first CD we happened to get for our not yet-2 y.o., who was of course too young to manipulate it. But we played with it together, and by "with" I mean it is not a game but a sort of enhanced flap book, where random object yield unexpected treats. The programs plays music, displays amusing animations, and so on. Most of all it's just simple fun, but also the most touching of the Just... series. This is an easy choice as a straightforward and inexpensive title for younger children. Our 6 y.o. gets a kickk out of playing with it sometimes, though, and his 3 y.o. younger brother can manipulate it easily. A final note, I do wish this publisher and others had continued to include multilingual support -- here English, French, German, and in an earlier version Japanese -- and additional cost must be minimal, and it's really fun to hear the different renditions. If your first language is one of these "other" languages, you might prefer it for that reason as well.

Rating: Summary: Wonderful way to introduce the seashore. Review: Just Me and My Grandma is another great Little Critter CD. I thought the multi-language aspect was a nice addition. The story is good and the animation when items were clicked on is great. There are also games to play. I think this CD is more appropriate for young children, rather that children in school. The quality is good, but the story and animation, as well as the number of choices available are not as entertaining or imaginative as the 'Just Me and My Mom' and 'Just Me and My Dad' computer programs. My son has been interested in 'Mom' & 'Dad' for nearly three years- but the 'Grandma' computer program only interested him for a few weeks. I think this is a great CD- but its' longevity is not as high as "Mom' and 'Dad'.
Rating: Summary: Another great software title Review: My 3 year old had the book first and then I purchased this. She loves it and enjoys it thoroughly. Keeps her occupied and happy while she can either just have the story read to her online or interact with some of the fun activties it offers.
