Review: Hey everyone! I just wanna say that THIS GAME RULES!!!!! You get to choose from songs like: From AM to PM by Christina Milian, Feelin Is Right by Samantha Mumba, Angel by Shaggy, Free by Mya, I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor, Bouncing Off The Ceiling by the A*Teens, S Club Party by S Club, Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, Escape by Enrique Englasias, and those are just a few of my favorites out of the 20 SONGS YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM!!!! You get to choose your look. There are 4 skin tones: Light, pale, asian, and dark. There are many hairstyles and looks to choose from, and there are soooooooooo many more that you can buy along the way! But you can only buy CLOTHES (shirts, pants/skirts, and shoes), not new hairstyles and colors. You also get to pick a stage name for your contestant!!! The computer randomly puts you against one of the contestants that the game made up. You have to get 1000 star power by buying clothes, stages, lighting effects, special effects, dance moves, and camera angles. The game comes with a FREE MIC so that you can sing into it!!!!!!! There are 2 types of dance performances and 2 types of singing performances. You'll learn more about them if you buy this game (and I hope you do!!!). There are 2 hosts (but you only hear their voices), a boy and a girl. The boy's name is TC and the girl's name is Kat. I HIGHLY RECOMMENED THIS GAME!!! GET IT!!!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR MISSING OUT ON!!!!!!!!!!

Review: I came on and read reviews for this game.At that time most where not good,people saying that the game was a chep trick.But I like it.The songs'artists include,Enrique Iglesias,Mya,S Club 7, Christina Milian, A*Teens, ATC, 98 Degrees, 3 Doors Down, Aqua, Jackson 5, Samantha Mumba, Shaggy, and afew others.The game it's self,(Road to Fame),is set up kinda like a board game.I've only had it 2 or 3 hours and have won 3 times and lost onece.The games even comes with a mic because at times you have to sing.You can even make your own version of the single tracks your idol dances to.Overall,if you like singing,dancing,pop music,playing games,or American Idol,you'll like this game.

Review: I don't know why everbody says the object of this game is to create the next Kelly Clarkson...I'm trying to create the next Tamyra Gray. Anyways, this game is REALLY good, because artistic people can relate to it. You get to sing, make your own dance moves, and make your own character and clothes. I know you may be thinking "I've already spent over $100 on American Idol merchandise!!" But trust me, this is worth it!!!

Review: I don't know why everybody is saying that this game is trying to create the next Kelly Clarkson.....I'm trying to create the next Justin Guarini.Anyway this is a great game it's just like the real american idol show you get to create your own style for your created character in the game.Also you get 3 juges who rant or rave at your moves to a choice of 20 hip songs.Also what I think is best of all you get to video tape your performance on to a American Idol website and let the world decide rather you should be the AMERICAN IDOL.I think that you sould get this game because I know I will be the first in line to get mine to add to the rest of my big collection of American Idol merchandise.

Review: I love American Idol the TV show. I just got the game for my birthday. It's fun, hip and cool. My friends and I used the karaoke part of the game to record our voices and create our own music videos. I just posted my video to "I Feel Good" and made it into the Top 40!
The graphics are cool, the music's got good beat (the game's got an assortment of different types of music -- rock, pop and R&B), and the web site is totally awesome! Even though the judges aren't the same, you quickly forget about it as you create your video -- by far the best part. This is a definite RECOMMEND for Christmas!

Summary: LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
Review: I was never nuts about American Idol so when I heard that American Idol was going to be a game I just had to get it the day it came out. Unfortunately I had to wait until Christmas and sure enough Santa brought it. New Year's Day I played my first game and was really shocked at how the game is different from the show. I had lost the game due to my computer partner. And the song I had performed was Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive. Then I tried again by creating a new star and I thought I was going to lose again but my version of James Brown's I Feel Good was great and I felt happy when I was announced "American Idol". I had felt like Kelly Clarkson and glad to see the crowd cheering for me. I have not posted my video yet but I Like this game. Only drawback is after two or three minutes the game freezes has anybody had this problem? A game for the Idol fan in all of us,

Summary: It's like being a contestant!
Review: I was really surprised by the depth, it's much more than what you see on the show. It covers a lot of what a star in waiting will experience, and it does it in a fun, playful way. You are competing a lot of the time to get what you need to move ahead, and doing some singing as well (a small microphone is included, and the judges are listening!). There's a lot of behind the scenes activity. You have to put together a wardrobe, choreograph your dance sequences, earn star power by doing the right thing, and ultimately bring it all together in a killer video performance that you design, which you can put on the website for others to see and judge. For me, the best aspect is the fact you can record your voice onto hit songs and then choreograph your on-stage performance to them. And, if you want to do it again and again, you can!

Summary: Super cool & lots of stuff to do!
Review: I watched the American Idol TV show and then I went out and bought this game. This game actually has MORE stuff in it than the show did! First, you get to create your own character. There's not too many choices at first, but if you play for a while you can collect a lot of stuff. Then you get to play singing and dancing games! The dancing games are pretty cool and my favorite is the singing practices where someone sings to you and you have to sing back. You can record a song with your voice and use it in the game too. After you win a game, you go make a video of your performance. I think this is the best part. All kinds of dance moves, cameras, lighting and special effects. Then, if you want, you can put your video up on the website and people can vote on it, just like in the show! It takes a long time to get enough stuff to make a really cool video, so don't give up. I'd recommend this to anyone who liked the American Idol TV show and also to anyone who likes to sing or put together dance performances.
