Summary: Future Equipment Operators Start Here...
Review: For children who love the big rigs and everything construction, this is a must. At 3, they can toot the horn, move the levers and steer the wheel and "hit the road". By 4, they can run the whole construcion site. What a great game. Thank you Tonka.

Summary: Kinda expensive, but a good game
Review: My 4 year old loves it and I haven't had any problems with the software or the ingenious hardware. Seems a bit expensive (hence the 4 star rating) which is why I made him save his allowance to buy it with his "own money" but he loves it and he hasn't even scratched the surface of all the areas available with this game.

Summary: This is hours of entertainment for your 2.5-5 year old.
Review: I bought this for my son's second birthday. He was a bit too young to enjoy it, at that point, but by about 2.5 he really got into it, with a bit of help. Now at three, he can pretty much do it by himself and LOVES IT! He and my five year old take turns playing and have been for about a year. There are never any problems with the controls ... So, worth every penny.

Summary: Gift for my Grandson-Christmas 2002
Review: I purchased the Tonka Dig N Rigs Playset for my Grandson Joey as a Christmas gift. He absolutely loves playing with it. My Daughter says that she can't keep him off the computer anymore. Before, he was more interested in TV and cartoons. If I had known about this product earlier, he would have started on it when he was 18 moths old instead of 3 years as he is now. It is such a powerful playset that I am now going to order one for my youngest Grandson Ethan whom is about to turn 18 month old. Thanks Amazon & Tonka for a delightful game that helps to train kids for life itself. It's a pleasure to watch them grow.

Summary: We were playing with it!
Review: I think this is the greatest interactive software I've seen for a young toddler. Was supposed to be a Christmas gift but I loaded the CD, mounted the "steering" column and off it went without a problem! My husband who hates computers had to be torn away from the keyboard! My 2-1/2 year old grandson loves it and it's great to see that he's learning to follow Tonka Joe's instructions more easily each time he plays. Loads of scenarios. Will definitely grow with him for a few years. Worth every cent.

Summary: WONDERFUL TOY
Review: My 3.5 y/o son is SO crazy about this toy! The first day he used it I had to pry his little fingers from the steering wheel to put him to bed! He woke up the next morning uttering the words, "got to drive my bulldozer now mom" It is so simple to set up, so simple to use and understand. Within a day, my son learned how to find his way around using the shortcuts. A month later it still holds his attention for hours. All in all it seems sturdy enough. After all it has to be set upon a keyboard to work so one wouldn't expect it should handle too much abuse.I reccommend this to any child who loves "heavy equiptment" !!! p.s I find it to be fun even after my little guy is sleeping ........

Summary: Great game but playset can break
Review: This is a fabulous game. Both my 4 and 7 year olds love to play it. One problem....the playset that attaches to the keyboard broke. An inside piece that controls that steering wheel broke off. Being Mrs. Fixit, I took the thing apart and glued the internal piece back together, but it kept breaking. I emailed the Infogrames and was told that "this is a known defect". They are going to send me a new playset. Great game but make sure little one's don't turn the wheel too hard.

Summary: Our 3 year old loves it!
Review: My 3 yr old son received this for a Christmas present and loves it. It has many different construction "jobs" for him to do and he loves operating the steering wheel, knobs and levers. He loves it so much that at first, we had to limit his time on it as he would play it almost constantly if we let him. The keyboard attaches to and comes off of the keyboard for easy on-easy off access. No complaints here and great value.

Summary: Great Game for Kids
Review: My son is almost 3 1/2 and he loves this toy. We had to return the first one because when you turned the wheel to the right the button that touches the keyboard didn't come down far enough but it was exchanged without a problem. Overall it's pretty sturdy, has some great games and is very easy to use. It teaches directional words like up/down, left/right, etc. and colors and really is a lot of fun. The only problem is trying to limit his time using it because he likes it so much. My 20 month old like it too even though he doesn't understand it he can "drive" the truck when it's on an open road. I'm sure this will get easier for him in no time as well.

Summary: Dig N Rigs Problemset
Review: We purchased the Dig N Rig Playset for our grandson for Christmas. We decided to check it out to make sure it worked. Actually my wife wanted to play with the game. The software installed but when we ran the program it crashed when we tried to turn left. I tried various things to see if I could get it to function. Nothing worked! ... This is an orphan product that should not be sold by reputable dealers such as Amazon.
