Rating: Summary: Frustrating Review: I agree with the reviews I have read. Unfortunatelly, when I read the reviews I had already bought the product. I think it is boring, very complicated and frustrating.
Rating: Summary: After travelling the learning curve... Review: I found that I needed to explore this game myself before turning it over to my two boys, ages 7 and 5. They both love it. It is a bit awkward to use it to build as with traditional legos but it is doable. And, you'll never run out of lego pieces with the software version of Legos. Using software is different than using traditional Legos and I think it's largely necessary that the game works the way that it does. In fact, a lot of nice features are included that could easily have been excluded. You do need to zoom, turn, and adjust your viewing angle a lot to get yourself into position where you can see what you're building. The fly control that simulates flying a helicopter over your "Lego World" where you build your creations is fun enough to almost justify the game by itself. A variety of environments called "Lego worlds" are your first step in building. Many pre-built Lego models are very helpful and can easily be inserted into your "Lego world". You can operate the game in "build" mode or in "play" mode. In "play" mode, the vehicles drive, the helicopters fly, and the people talk. This provides some interesting novelties and delights. I did find it slow to get started with but certainly not impossible. There is a character who provides help information whom I nicknamed as "Mr Wizard". My boys and I did call on him a lot when we were getting started. Also, it wouldn't run right on one of my computers. The game requires a Pentium operating at 200Mhz or greater with a good amount of memory. I had to switch to another, newer computer. After travelling the learning curve for this product, it offers a lot of possibilities for creative and imaginative play.
Rating: Summary: not worth it Review: i got this game a while ago and i rarley play it anymore. this game doesent deserve half a star. there are no boats or planes, only helicopters. the only good part was playing. it's slow and the graphics and sound are bad for a PC game. Ther are very few good parts to this game, it is only worth about 7 dollars.

Rating: Summary: legos are fun to play with Review: I like playing with legos on my computer. If you mess up the cleanup is easy--all you do is delete the pieces. The graphics are very good. It is in 3D! I really like the game. You should get it too.
Rating: Summary: A game not worth it Review: Lego fans are always interested in a new way to use legos, in this case, the computer, with Lego Creator. The cover it seems all cool with the nifty features and good graphics. Along with "ease-of-use." Well that all changes when you actually play the game. With it's half screen viewing, and not "easy to use", you think again weather you just lost 19.95. And guess what, you did! The game is stupid and boring, along with very hard to use. I thought it would be easy. Click to add a piece. Well no, it's hard. It's basiclly a challenge to get the piece in place. You could make a game, "Get a Piece Connected: Brought to you by Lego Creator, the Ripoff Software!" The graphics are hidious, and sound is not what is should be. And everything else, well, it's bad. That's all I can say. It's bad. A reviewer from NY
Rating: Summary: "Complex", "NOT User-Friendly", and "A Real Drag" Review: This is good for people who like to build Legos, but don't have the pieces, but has some significant downsides. The creation inevitably takes long and is fairly complex. It's difficult to get a good view of your creations with the tools provided. It's slow and choppy for outdated computers (mine's 200 megahertz). On the plus side, this is realistic (compared to actually making a lego creation) and has some neat fun things (like dynamite). Ultimately, I only recommend this for people who like to build and have a computer with at least 500 megahertz.

Rating: Summary: "Complex", "NOT User-Friendly", and "A Real Drag" Review: This software takes forever to load and once loaded it is painful to use. My son and I, both thought the program is overly complex and not intuitive. Time passed quickly while trying to build simple structures, which made the user loose interest and become bored. It also appeared to limit the users imagination & creativity that you typically have when using the real blocks. It definitely did not meet our expectations.
Rating: Summary: Not XP compliant Review: This software will NOT work on XP operating system in any compatibility mode. There is no patch anywhere I could find.
