Summary: POWER TOOL WILL NOT WORK ON WINDOWS XP
Review: After MANY frustrating attempts to install the power tool, I went to the Hasbro website and found out that you can ONLY play the game with the mouse if you have Windows XP...what a bummer this was to my six and four year old sons. They still have fun playing it with the mouse, but it is not their first choice.
Thankfully, I ordered this when it was 50% off, or Tonka Joe would really be on my list!!

Review: I bought this for my 4 year old. He loves anything Tonka. I was kind of disapointed with it. He is not as interested in it as I thought he would be. But all in all it is a good game.

Summary: Great Game Once You Get It To Work!!
Review: I bought this software for my son's birthday. I couldn't get the drill to work like many who have commented here. I visited the Hasbro website that gave me the link to the new owners of the software (Infogrames). I was able to e:mail my difficulties to a technician through their Customer Support Window. The technician e:mailed me several suggestions on how to configure my machine to try to get the drill to work. Once I made the change the drill worked IMMEDIATELY. I had to pry my son off the computer last night, he was having so much fun. If you have troubles running it on your machine, I recommend visiting the Infogrames support ...

Summary: Tonka Power Tools
Review: I think this toy is great. My son is only 3 and a half and got this for Christmas this year. I was a little concerned he wouldn't be successful playing the game. I was happy to see that the game has multiple levels of difficulty and that he could even play some sections at level 3 already. He loves it, and it has helped him learn the names of the tools and to problem solve so that he has the right tool for the job!!

Review: My son is 4, and can manipulate the mouse (you can play this without the "power tool" too). I can't believe how much he's learned about the computer from this game, and I get a kick out of his coming to tell me he "needs to do some arc welding". Even my daughter who's 11 thinks it's not too bad, and that says something, too.

Review: My son loves the Tonka Power Tools Playset. He keeps busy with the drill, that can be used for many different functions. He likes painting, sand blasting, and tightening lug nuts. He is very busy and doesn't like to sit still for very long, but with this game he can sit until he is finished with his project. I even have fun playing with it. I would reccommend this to anyone.

Summary: Incredible game
Review: My three year old now has mastered the entire realm of fasteners and the tools necessary to to use them. He plays for hours with this game and never seems to tire of it.Thanks to this game, when I ask him for a phillips screwdrive, he hands me one! When we work on projects around the house, he knows which tools we need and brings them to me. Easy to setup, the software runs flawlessly and the "powertool" is rugged. Thanks TONKA!
