Summary: Run Away
Review: This game was just plain bad. A filler between the good games. You did not get to move around the park and explore, there were no good puzzles, we finished this game in a couple of hours. The final insult was the abrupt and non-sense ending. Just close your eyes and pretend it never happened. You could start with one of the earlier games or jump over this thing and move on to Danger on Deception Island.

Review: I don't normally play PC games, but I bought this one for my 11 year old daughter's 2nd N. Drew game and I loved it. The graphics are wonderful and the game teaches history about Marie Antoinette and the French Revolution. The ending is awesome, I was on the edge of my seat and it gave us both a feeling of accomplishment to finish it. (Although we had to use a cheat sheet and I'm 51 years old...couldn't figure it out by ourselves. Story line/plot well written, video/audio are the best. A great investment for kids & adults (and I am picky about what I spend my $$$ on.

Summary: Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake
Review: My son got this for Christmas last year. At 9 years old, he was captivated by the game as was the rest of the family. Playing as junior detectives, it was challenging and fun. We look forward to solving a new mystery as senior detectives.

Summary: There is No 'Deception' About This Game!!!
Review: Wow! When we bought "The Haunted Carousel," we had very high expectations considering the previous games. We were, however, very dissapointed when we finished in less than one day, were shocked by easy puzzles, and were bored by unchallenging conflicts. We were very leary when "Danger on Deception Island" came out, but we gave it a chance.
We were thrilled by this game!!! The graphics and sound effects were awesome! The puzzles were challenging, but after a lot of thought, you could solve them. This game, #9 in the series, was the best by far. The plot twisted constantly, making it impossible to detect the 'culprit' before the end of the game. The kayaking was adventerous and fun, as well as the characters being realistic.
If you love a good challenge and are ready to take some action, this game is certainly for you! Two thumbs up, Nancy!

Summary: Nancy's got a winner here!
Review: I buy these Nancy Drew games, send one to my 12 year old niece in Canada, have another one at home in Florida for my 9 year old daughter and then my niece and her mom vs. myself and my daughter have long distance competitions to see who can solve the mystery first.
We were disappointed with Haunted Carousel. But Danger on Deception Island made up for it. Great puzzels, fun reactions from Nancy when we tried to feed her wierd sandwiches, challenging problems to solve and it was long enough to satisfy the girls and moms. The whale was cool and the dangers when Nancy slips or trips or gets caught were fun and exciting.
This one's a keeper and we give it 4 thumbs up!

Summary: Nancy Drew Haunted Carousel
Review: The Haunted Carousel game was a big disappointment to me for several reasons. I am a fan of the Nancy Drew software and only have good things to say about the *other* titles in this series by Her Interactive. That said, this particular game is too short, has fewer clues and puzzles (which are much too easy), other characters are barely fleshed out, and overall, it lacks any sense of mystery or intrigue basic to this type of game. I suspect that HerInteractive was in a crunch to get Danger on Deception Island out quickly in time for Xmas, and so they skimped on this particular game. I do not recommend it at all!

Summary: Gah! A fantastic game an scary enough too...
Review: When Nancy goes to Moon Lake to find out what is behind these ghost dogs, she meets up with a scare! When the dogs attacked the house I was frozen on the edge of my seat. When I got lost in the forest I smacked myself because I had forgotten the map and hadn't saved the game. I got out though. When I was stuck in the shed I got blown up seven times before I figured it out. You get to fix a motorboat, take pictures, and put out a fire.
With one teeny con.
There are only three characters, whilst in the other ND gamed there are four or five even. Still a great game! Oh, and I reccomend this... a lot!

Summary: Nancy Drew strikes AGAIN! Another fantastic game...
Review: For everyone who thinks this game stinks- you are wrong.
Nancy goes to New Jersey to try and figure out why the carousel's been haunted, and why a horse was stolen. Play games at the amusement park, ride the carousel, play a harmonica, learn shorthand. And then more. As usual, at first I was sure the suspect was someone else. I was so sure that I started being mean to that person. Wrong me. You'll have a good time and learn a lot.
