Rating: Summary: 32 year old mom (bought it for ME) Review: Ok, I'm 32, have a small child of my own, and bought this for me. I've always liked Nancy Drew, and always had fantasies of being this sort of detective (like Charlie's Angels, which, uh, I still have dreams at night about)....anyway, this is a totally fun game...I find myself hooked on this and have a hard time putting it away....which my poor daughter can attest to! The reviews stated it took a long time to install, but I seem to remember it taking no longer than any other I have, only a few minutes...I have started with being a Jr. Detective, and I find it quite challenging, and I am a college degreed woman! I've already used the "second chance" feature as I continue to learn how to "be a better sleuth"...I highly recommend it, and am going to purchase the other two games, although from what I understand they do not have some of the latest features in them that this one does. Looking forward to (hopefully) the next one!
Rating: Summary: Secrets Can Kill Review: Secrets Can Kill is a great game. I love the entire Nancy Drew computer game series. Even though many people don't think this is such a great one compared to all the others, with the updated features and graphics, I still love this one because it's the first classic one and it's so much fun. Nancy's first case takes her to Florida where there has been a murder committed at the local high school. As Nancy Drew, you can explore different buildings, interrogate suspects, and pick up clues. Along with all the other games in the series, this is a game that's fun and challenging but not TOO difficult, and it's not bad or violent. I love Nancy Drew and mysteries, so I was so thrilled when Her Interactive came out with this series a few years ago, and I have collected all the games since! I love this game, and I did not regret getting it.
Rating: Summary: Very interesting --- Another good mystery Review: I thought it was very good, only it was a little too complicated. I liked the usually good graphics (for Nancy Drew games) but I didn't particularly like the way you couldn't easily get around. Really well done ghost dogs, very scary. The mystery was a creepy one, and the villain was certainly unexpected. That's all I'll say. Anymore would spoil it.
Rating: Summary: My favorite ND game so far! Review: Treasure in the Royal Tower is one of the best computer games I ever played. This is a great starter Nancy Drew game for starting off because it's not too hard nor too easy. If you want a really easy game try the Haunted Carousel. The story goes that you, as Nancy Drew, are snowed in at a ski resort in Wisconsin with an interesting history. In this game you learn about the French Revolution and Marie Antoinette. "So, what's the mystery?" you ask. I'm getting to that. There is a tower shipped over from France and was put back together on Wickford Castle, the ski resort you are staying at. The library at Wickford has been vandalized, and it takes a lot more than barging through the front door to investigate. Later, you hear about Marie Antoinette having a crown worth millions and somehow you figure that the library and treasure are connected. Your job is to find out the story behind the treasure and library. This game took me about four days to beat. It's quite challenging in parts, like the ski lift, but you can get through it. It's also a little frightening, like the banging noises, but not too frightening that you never want to play it again, like the Final Scene. All in all, Treasure in the Royal Tower is a great game and everyone should buy it.
Rating: Summary: Haunted Carousel Review: What a game...I originally bought this for my kids-but I just happened to get a peek while strolling by when they were playing it on the comuter- later that night I played it and I was completely hooked, it kept me up waaaay past my bedtime(regretted it the next day)-I did solve it-took me about a total of 8 hours of game play to do so. I suddenly found a love for carousel horses all over again myself-very interesting facts and tid bits in the game about them. I totally recommend you try this and also for your kids.
Rating: Summary: YUCK Review: I did not like this game at all. It is buggy and the Save and Load area is slow and does not work very well. I also dislike the switching back and forth between DISC 1 and 2. Save your money, this game not worth the money. Buy something else.
Rating: Summary: Treasure in the Royal Tower by Lindsey Allen Review: This game was great and very informatic(just a minute <tiny> bit). I would reccomed this game for people who would like an easy game that you could finish in between one and two days.I give this game an A- .
Rating: Summary: This Game Rocks! Review: This game really got my brain working. The puzzles were really intriguing and the plot was great. I love the PDA function that can give you a hint when you need it. My copy of "Final Scene" didn't have this feature and It was really handy! I couldn't close it down!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: The best one I've solved! I was sad when it ended. And I suddenly realised how much I loved carousel horses! I'm eager to do another!
Rating: Summary: The best Nancy Drew game! Review: I wanted this game before, but my dad said it looked boring, because there were only 12 rooms to explore. I found out there were more than that, when I unexpectedly go it for '04 Christmas. I didn't really know if I would like it, but now I found that it is one of my favorite games. Nancy goes to a museum for a short job and runs into robberies and more. It is a great game and I am planning to discuss the buying of another one tonight. The game has great graphics and you will be obsessed quickly. I have learned to listen carefully to what the people have to say, and click on things whenever you can. You may get stumped but keep playing, the game is great!
