Summary: My daughter likes it - I don't
Review: We checked this software out of the library, thank goodness. I'd be unhappy if we'd spent money on it.

My five year old enjoys playing with it but I suspect she will tire of it before it's due back at the library as there is really nothing to do. You can decorate your horse, decorate the show ring, and run around a track. That's about it.

There does not seem to be any educational value whatsoever unless you're trying to teach a child how to click a mouse.

Summary: Disney's Princess Dress-up not so magical!
Review: We got this as a present for our 4yr old. When it worked she loved it. Concept is good, but it is limited in what you can do and the product is faulty. We had to reinstall everytime only to get one sitting out of it. To get your own photo for a model was difficult--you had to go through a separate process that only an adult could do and it didn't look very good. The CD didn't even last 4 months before it stopped playing completely (missing dll file). We take very good care of our cd's and are avid computer users, so the fault is definately with the product and programing. My daughter's gift turned into a nightmare of disappointment.

Summary: Cinderella's Dollhouse is a delight!
Review: When I first heard that Disney was working on Cinderella II: Dreams Come True, I instantly searched for merchandise based on this new film coming to video and Disney DVD in February. Seeing this cd-rom made me very happy. I waited a rather long time for it, and now that I have it, I doubt even going to Disneyworld could make me any more joyful. As soon as it was loaded in, I discovered that there were two trailers for some disney movies, Cinderella II, and Snow White and the Seven dwarves. In the opening of the cd-rom is the title of the game, Cinderella's Dollhouse, with a bird flapping it's wings around it. Then Cinderella's fairy godmother appears. She speaks all in ryhms, and explains that before you can enter, she must use her wand to turn you into a princess. Now, I'm a boy, so this affended me a bit, but the box did say that the game was for girls ages 5 & up. After you are "sprinkled with pixie dust", the fairy godmother shows how to play the game. You get to decorate six different rooms, place what character you want in that room, and than see them interact with each other. This game is rather beautifully done, and even though it is a little easy, I, a thirteen-year old, enjoyed it very much. The game is designed so that it understands depth, and when you place a character on a chair or sofa, they sit instead of stand. I love this game, even though I'm a boy, and if your a little skeptical at first, keep in mind that you can download even more accesories from the official website at www.disneyinteractive.com, which is a great site by the way. I think this came is great for Cinderella fans of all ages, and not just for little minds. You get exactly your money's worth, and it's very creative. I suggest if you like Walt Disney's classic, Cinderella, you should get this cd-rom.

Summary: So Much Fun!!
Review: You can design your own costumes with different patterns and styles and wear them to the castle and search for more accessories and all sorts of unique items. You can even customize you characters appearance and even add your own face to the character. Then you can add your character to the storybook.
