Summary: Very enjoyable
Review: My 6 year old really enjoys playing with this, especially the "Star of the story" section. I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. My daughter fell in love with this software immediately. Although she doesn't play with it every day, she certainly plays with it often. She likes it so much that we have bought it as gifts for several friends.

Summary: Will Never Play With It Again
Review: My daughter (4.5 years old, but computer-savvy) was so excited when I showed her the box of this game. We loaded it, it ran fine, but nothing else made the purchase worth from there on. The graphics are crude, the 360 degree (or almost 360 degree) navigation is awkward, the choices (3 for each object) are poor, and the fairy godmother is incredibly long-winded and annoying.My daughter's words, "Princesses are supposed to be fun... but this game is SOOO boring." We played with it for an hour and will never touch it again.

Summary: Afternoon of entertainment
Review: My daughter loves this game. She picked it out and bought it with her own money. It is her first computer game and she could spend all afternoon on the computer, if daddy and mommy let her :) She is 6 years old and it is easy enough for her to use with out our help, but it also keeps her thinking. Plus this way we don't have to answer the old "Mommy will you buy me a pony?" question, as the computer game has many to choose from.

Summary: basically a dollshouse
Review: The game lives up to its name, its a dollshouse. You pick the furniture and put it where you like almost as a number of things refuse to allow you to place them where you want even when there is plenty of room. You cannot place an object or person behind another item unless you put the back item in first.
The fun part is decorating the rooms and seeing the characters you place in the rooms interact. It would have been nice to have had more variety in the characters as you only get two cinderellas, anastasia drusella and the stepmother, the prince, three mice, a dog, aa cat and a couple of birds.
You can change the wallpaper, floor, ceiling, curtains etc (three choices of each) Also the furniture has three choices.
Disappointing is the promised downloadable decorations, they downloaded but wont run.
Overall the game is click and point, so the kids are not amused long and seldom return. It came in a package with three other games otherwise I probably would not have purchased it but games geared towards girls a few and far between with disney and barbie being almost the only ones.

Summary: It's too boring and has too many flaws.
Review: The only thing this game has going for it are it's beautiful 3D graphics. The interface is dificult to use at times and not everthing is intuitive. Players under age 10 will find it frustrating. The object of the game is to decorate each of five castles so that you can begin looking for gems to free cinderella who has been trapped in a book. The decorating activity becomes monotonous after a while and there isn't quite enough variety in the castles, rooms, and furniture to keep it interesting. The game description claims that there are thousands of textures and objects to choose from, but that is simply not true (perhaps two or three hundred at best). Also, there are no objects or elements of the castles that you can interact with. For example, one of the items is a telescope, but you can't use it, and you can't open chests or cabinets. Once the castles have been decorated you are taken to a different castle to look for 5 gemstones that will free cinderella. This is a simple activity that is completed quickly and brings the game to an ungratifying and abrupt conclusion. The game looks as though it would have had potential but aside from repeatedly placing objects in rooms and choosing the colors, there just isn't enough to do.

Review: this game is great im 13 years old...and its really hard to find games for kids our age...cinderellas dollhouse is a great game i played it at my little cuzins house...the fairy godmother is just like the movie...and designing rooms in the house was really fun!!! especially since u can change the patterns of the furniture and wallpaper and stuff...i recomend this as a gift for girls...also what u can do is you can put characters from the movie into your scenes and make them come to life...by putting food in the hands or props...its a really enjoyable game...just a little bit slow...but its worth the wait...the game is just great!!!and the music...!!! the music is sweeet

Summary: The Christmas hit for an 8-year-old!
Review: This game was a big hit with my eight-year-old niece. It imports all photo file types. She enjoyed making Princess pictures of herself, her little sister, and all of her aunties! The game is definitely fun and really encourages creativity. That said, there were parts I did not like. The software could be more seamless. The import photo section (where girls create their own virtual models) is separate from the other CD activities. This doesn't pose a huge problem, but .... if you want to bring in someone else's photo, you have to exit your current session (and therefore lose the creations you've made in that session). One bonus activity: girls can place their models into different scenes they create in "Star of the Story." They can print the scenes in full color, or just with the black outlines (resembling a coloring book). This could be fun way for my 3-year-old niece to get involved--she can color her own pictures from the "coloring book" designs that her big sister creates.

Summary: Boring and a waste of money
Review: This is a dreadfully awkward and boring game offering limited choices for creative players. You would think Disney, with all the money they've made off of kids and parents would put a little more investment into creating a truly good game, rather than simply trading on the whole "princess" marketing thing they're into now. The sound quality on this game is as bad as the game itself. My four-year-old, who is perfectly capable of playing other games of this type for this age group, kept having to ask me for help because she couldn't hear what the annoying narrator was saying. If you want a GREAT game that allows kids to decorate a castle and have some fun, try Barbie as Rapunzel. Yes, it's Barbie, and that's a downside in itself, but the game is so well done with such high-quality animation and sound, and it seems as if they put some money into the content of the game itself. It's very engaging and my daughter can't tear herself away. Disney could learn a thing or two from this game.

Summary: An excellent and fun creativity program for girls!
Review: This is an open-ended, well rounded, creativity program that features three main activities. Design ballgowns with thousands of not millions of possible combinations, visit the worlds of Belle, Jasmine, and Ariel to find extra goodies for creating outfits, or create stories by coloring pictures and adding stickers to them. You can even create a princess that looks like you by importing a picture of your face. All of the activities are fun and the dresses are just beautiful. If you know a young girl or are young at heart, get it.

Summary: Not User Friendy
Review: This version of Fashion Boutique is not as good as the first with Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. While my daughter can play it at age 5, she needs help finding the patterns and the jewels. She is not yet able to play this alone, as she is many other Disney and Barbie games. However, she does like Ariel and Belle, so she does play it, but I spend more time than she does searching for the designs.
