Rating: Summary: A finishing course of a three-course feast! Review: I express unqualified enthusiasm for Barbara Delinsky, in general, a writer who is truly gifted in her very realistic and heart-felt characterizations. In this novel, the third of the Crosslyn Rise series (as it was described when published by Harlequin), Nina Stone is a hard-boiled real estate career-woman, who is truly unafraid to go after what she wants. What is remarkable is the effective and compassionate manner in which Delinsky paints this heroine. John is her hero, an outwardly mild-mannered but extremely passionate bookseller with a four-year-old hearing impaired son. The two are thrown together as partners on a project, both reluctant, but increasingly aware of an undeniable attraction. Throughout the course of the book, the two come to a realization that they have a lot to learn about love as they learn that their apparent differences are much less significant than their need for each other.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Barbara Review: I've read just about everything Barbara has written. I'm a new reader of Barbara and once I read one book, I went back and tried to buy all the rest...I'm just thrilled everytime I find one I haven't read..she will just have to write faster This particlular book was a lovely nice love story that has at least a bite to it with story line. I like that. Hope future readers will enjoy as much as I did.
