Summary: Rightfully Mine: Doris Mortman - A Diamond In The Ruff
Review: I got this book years ago at a book sale. Having nothing else to read on a camping trip I picked up Rightfully Mine and didn't want to put it down. Drama mixed with mystery, real life issues and a fanatasy romance I was hooked. I had never heard of the Author and now I'm looking for more of Doris Mortman books. I really think this would be a great movie. For a great escape I highy reccommend Rightfully Mine.

Summary: An great story
Review: Rightfully Mine is one of my top 20 favorite books of all time. From the first chapter, I was absolutely hooked. What I liked most was the herione, Gaby. From a housewife from Ohio with no previous work experience, she becomes the CEO of a an auction house in NY. The great twist is HOW she managed to do that. A little deception never sounded so interesting.

Summary: Survivor
Review: This was a wonderful story which begins with a housewife having to learn how to make it on her own after her husband announces that he doesn't love her any more and is having an affair with a younger woman. Gaby has endured much in her life, her parents were killed when she was young child, the aunt who raises her gets cancer, her husband leaves her and her son feels that she's responsible for the breakup of the marriage. Gaby is a lot stronger than she thinks as she begins to build a life and career for herself. Gaby faces many obstacles but with the help of friends and her new found courage she manages to reach her goal by becoming an independent who can take care of herself, finding a man who leads a secret life to love and who loves her in turn, winning back her son's affection and making friends who are truly friends. Although I enjoyed this novel immensely it took me over a week to finish it - it was much too descriptive but I did acquire a deeper appreciation of the art world.
