Review: I LOVED THIS BOOK! I'm not much of a reading but I thought this one looked cute so I gave it a try and I'm glad I did. I laughed, cried and found my self sad when they were sad. I recommend this book to every one that know. I look forward to more books by Mary Davis. READ IT you'll be glad you did.

Summary: Lighthearted fun
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. Meghann shows the everyday struggle of being a single woman-when all your family thinks you should be married. She thought it would be easier to make someone up, than to continually explain that she isn't yet married. But, she quickly realizes that one lie turns into many more and the truth is her only way out. Being a Christian doesn't mean you're perfect, but that you try to do right. The characters dealt with their lies by praying and asking for forgiveness, just like we as Christians must do. I recommed this book to anyone who wants to enjoy a funny look into the life of an all to human single woman dealing with wanting to please your family while still trying to be true to your faith. The characters learn about themselves and each other on their round about journey to finding out that true love doesn't always happen the way we imagined, but that doesn't make it any less real.

Summary: Lies, guilt and Mother-in-laws!
Review: Mary Davis does a great job in her first book effort! It's an old story but told in an fun, easy to read way. You really feel for Meg and Bruce as they struggle with the family situations that one seemly little lie creates, as well as Bruce's efforts to show his family (and Meg) that he really is a changed man. Curl up with a cup of tea, settle back and enjoy Newlywed Games! You will be glad you did!

Summary: Cute, Light Reading
Review: Not the best book I've ever read, but it is a cute story and a fun read. I quite enjoyed reading it on a long, boring evening, when my husband was out of town.

Summary: A Cinderella Fantasy....
Review: This book is just for fun. Lighthearted reading for getting away from reality. I agree with another reviewer who said that Christian principles are not followed in terms of lies and deception. Eventually, the main characters do repent, but they must still suffer the consequences of their actions. Thank goodness for a forgiving God! Enjoy this story without taking it too seriously.

Summary: Newlywed games
Review: This book kept me enthralled all the way to the end. I read the entire book in 24 hours due mostly to the fact that I stayed up until 1:30 in the morning while reading straight for three hours. This is a very romantic novel yet Mary Davis does a great job with the comedy aspect as well. She throws in awkward scenes into the romance making this book spectacular. Great book, Ih was amazed this was her first book. A great accomplishment. I can't wait for her next. A must-read book for all ages!

Summary: Newlywed Games
Review: When Meghann's mother announces an unexpected visit, Meg goes into a panic. She'd told her terminally ill mother she was married. It was just a little white lie to ease her mother's worries. But Mom has recovered, and Meg's charade is about to be exposed Deception, attraction, and more than a few little white lies, complicate Meg and Bruce's already complicated relationship. Then when Bruce finally thinks he may have won Meg over, she finds out about his little white lie. Mary Davis amuses and entertains in her first Palisades romance, Newlywed Games.
