Rating: Summary: Savannah from Savannah Review: I absolutely loved this book!!!! I can not say enough about it. The author of this book Denise Hildreth is a genius. She made the characters seem so real to me. Her writing is phenomenal. It was so easy to have a picture in my mind with every chapter she wrote. It brought me back to a city that i love. It made me want to be in Savannah reading this book in one of the squares with a cup of coffee. I can't wait for the sequel... When is it coming out...HURRY..HURRY...HURRY...
Rating: Summary: Take me to Savannah Review: I don't know what you people do in the south, but I need to come and find out. Because this book has caused me to fall in love with you. I have laughed, even might have cried a time or two. But more than any of that I just fell in love with the people, the city, and the very atmosphere. Denise Hildreth has a way of capturing people and telling a story that makes you want to visit again. I hope the next one is soon. Of course I'll probably just pick it up when I come to visit Savannah.
Rating: Summary: I laughed, I cried, then I applauded... Review: This book captures you from the beginning. As each person is introduced they become a part of Savannah. Makes me want to go to Savannah so I can pay a visit to Jake's Coffee Shop and pat Duke on the head. I would love to see the McDonald's Coke machine in the back of Jake's Coffee Shop. Savannah is a young lady that keeps you wondering what she is going to do next. She will not leave you with a dull moment. She knows where she is going and is determined to make it on her own. Many mothers can see a lot of their own daughters in Savannah. It lets us know the importance of encouraging the dreams and ambitions God has put in our children. We may see them come to pass.

Rating: Summary: Savannah from Savannah Review: This book encompasses all that is good about being southern. Hildreth is truly the female, more sophisticated version of Lewis Grizzard.
Rating: Summary: Savannah From Savannah Review: This book is funny, sad, mysterious and loving. I love the way the writer has made Savannah come alive and how the characters seem like your neighbor. A fresh and pure book that shows a family united with love and God. A Town that is proud of its heritage. Makes me want to visit Savannah and meet these people. Ms. Hildreth is in the class with Nicholas Sparks.

Rating: Summary: Don't miss this book! Review: This is a wonderful, witty book of a southern girl with a southern mom! The characters are so full and real that I actually missed them when I finished the book. It's funny and touching. You will love, I promise!
Rating: Summary: Savannah from Savannah Review: This is the best novel I've read in years! It makes you laugh, it makes you cry....and it makes you think. From page one you are hooked and you can't stop until the end. The characters seem so real and you feel like you get to know each of them personally. My teenage girls, ages 13 & 17, read it and loved it, too. But best of all...it opened up conversations between us about things we may never have otherwise discussed. This book should be the next Hallmark movie...it's that good. You finish it wanting more. I can't wait for a sequel!
