Rating: Summary: Fathers &Daughers(Diana Gabaldon) Review: B-O-R-I-N-G! Only one story is actually by Diana Gabaldon, and a very short one, at that. I was very disappointed that she was promoted so prominently, and contributed so little. The other stories are by current best-selling authors, but that's not why I bought it. Can you say Rip-off?

Rating: Summary: Not to be missed Review: I loved this book! It is written by many well known authors about their relationships wth their father. Some true some not. All the stories were touching and some made me cry. I have read this book twice and had my father read it also. Father / Daughter relationships are among the strongest bonds in the world and this book proves it. I think everyone should read this book. It not only reconfirms your love of your father but makes you think twice about those times when you thought you didn't love him at all. I will definetly pass this book on to my daughter when she is old enogh to appreciate the love of her father.
Rating: Summary: Fathers &Daughers(Diana Gabaldon) Review: I was very disappointed in this book. I had expected that 3 authors would write of their experiences, not 11. I can say that the only one that I found interesting was the one by Diana Gabaldon and several were so uninteresting that I didn't finish reading them.I agree with a previous review - this book played on Diana Gabaldon's wonderful reputation and I am sure she would be disappointed in the finished product....
Rating: Summary: Memories are needed... Review: Memories are needed to keep us focused on what is ahead. We remember the people who have gotten us to the point we are at today...fathers are always at the top of the list, especially for daughters. This book allows us to share in so many memories through the stories provided and often triggers us to remember things we thought we had forgotten...a very enjoyable book to read. I recommend it highly as perhaps a gift to yourself or your father. It is a 'warm fuzzy' book, making you feel good inside.
