Rating: Summary: A DANIELLE STEEL Classic Review: Danielle STEEL has once again outdone herself... I read this book about five years ago and thought that it was one of the best works Danielle has come up with. The storyline about sibling rivalry was very realistic and the "urge to roam" feelings described were right on the money. I could relate very easily with the characters and I consider this a MASTER-PIECE CLASSIC
Rating: Summary: One of my favourites Review: I have been reading Danielle Steel for over 15 years and own all her books and this is one of my favourites - one I can read over and over again and still enjoy the story. I was transported back to the 1930's and admired the bravery of Audrey travelling to China when it was probably a dangerous (and not "proper") for a young single woman to do so. This one made me laugh, cry and wish that all would go well for Audrey. If you are a Danielle Steel fan you will love this one. Her earlier novels (like this one) are so much better than her later books. If you are new to Danielle Steel - this one is highly recommended. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: I'm very impressed Review: I have just finished reading this book and i actually cried. This is a sensational book about following your heart and having to make sacrifices at one time or another. It also brings out historic moments in the 30's including the start of the holocaust. I have never read a book that moved me in all of my life. I commend Danielle Steele on her Masterpiece. Keep up the good work.
Rating: Summary: Great novel. Review: I have read many of Danielle Steel's books. This has to be one of her best. It is about a young woman named Audrey who has been caretaker to her grandfather and younger sister. Then, she has this need to do some traveling, and see the world. She does so, first going to New York City (she lived in San Francisco). She meets two people named James and Violet, and she becomes a travel companion for the two. In England, she meets Charles, whom becomes her one true love, and they travel the world together, and no matter what threatens to break them up, they never give up on each other. This is not as formulaic as many of Danielle Steel novels, but it is still wonderful and one of her best.

Rating: Summary: AS ALWAYS A GREAT BOOK! Review: I have read most of Ms Steel's books and loved almost all of them. . .What a great writer she is. This book follows her pattern of keeping you interested and guessing and pleased at the end. If you liked this book, or want to read one that goes straight to your heart, read Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher. . .It is a beautiful story of unrequited love. . .for certain the love story of the nineties. I intended to give the book a quick read, but I got so caught up in the story that I couldn't put the book down. From the very beginning, I was fully caught up in the heart-wrenching account of Julie Hunter's battle with lupus and her growing love for Don Lipton. This love, in the face of Julie's impending death, makes for a story that covers the range of human emotions. The touches of humor are great, too, they add some nice contrast and lighten things a bit when emotions are running high. I've never read a book more deserving of being published. It has rare depth. Julie's story will remind your readers that life and love are precious and not to be taken for granted. It has had an impact on me, and for that I'm grateful. Stolen Moments is written with so much sensitivity that it made me want to cry. It is a spellbinder. What terrific writing. Barbara does have an exceptional gift!
Rating: Summary: BEST DANELLE STEELE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I have read this book over and over, This is Danelle's work at it's absolute best! FRom the sybling rivalry to the sacrefices made for love, casting away all responsibility to be with the one you love. This book is an insperation to women everywhere!!
Rating: Summary: This was the best book! Review: I really loved this book. It is by far the greatest book Danielle Steel has written. The strong passion for traveling really appealed to me and gave birth to my own wanderlust. Now I have a stong urge to travel and live Audrey and Charlie's experiences.
Rating: Summary: Pack your bags! And don't forget to bring a good book! Review: I thought Wanderlust was great. I loved hearing about Audrey's experiences around the world. The author did a good job of evoking the 1930's setting. Moving, dramatic plot, great for any romantics out there. There were only two small things I didn't like: 1. I didn't think it was fair of the author to portray people who don't want children as selfish and miserable. 2. I thought the name of Audrey friend Lady Vi was a little corny, and a little too much like another very famous royal's name (Hmmm...I wonder who that could be?) Other than that, it was a terrific story.
