Rating: Summary: Very Disappointed Review: I must say that I am so very disappointed in these new books the ghostwriter keeps bringing out.I waited impatiently for Midnight Flight to come out and when I finally held it in my hands I felt that maybe, just maybe the ghostwriter would have miraculously written a spectacular book worthy of V.C Andrews' name. Boy, was I ever wrong. Firstly, I found the whole set up completely unbelievable and uncanny. Do things like this still happen in this day and age? Then, the book just went from bad to worse. The punishments Dr. Foreman gave the girls were ridiculous and I have no idea where Mr. GhostWriter got them from. I have lost all hope for any more great novels bearing V.C Andrews' name. I just still buy the books because they look good on my book shelf and take up space. So everyone, I do believe every die-hard VCA fan should still check out this book just to see what happens to those annoying girls from the first book. And for first-time VCA readers I really do suggest you just stick to the older books, which all had much much better storylines and characters.
Rating: Summary: loved it Review: I read this book in 2 days, I think it is the best book the ghost writer has written so far. It is way better than Broken Wings. It doesn't get boring once, I couldn't put it down. I don't know why so many people hated it. But I noticed most of the people who said they hated it didn't read the whole thing. You can't say a book is horrible if you havnt read it! Your not giving the ghost writer enough credit. He comes up with really good ideas.
Dr. Foreman is horrible, I wish the girls could have gotten more revenge on her than they did. The buddies are just as bad as Dr. Foreman.
Anyway if you are VC Andrews fan, definatly read this book.
Rating: Summary: Even better than the first one..... Review: I truly enjoyed "Midnight Flight". It was even better than the first book, which I enjoyed very much. This sequel provides a look into what really happens to Teal, Phoebe and Robin. Along the way, they encounter Mindy and Gia. They work hard, play little and get reprimanded for everything they do. Gia finally decides to do something about the situation and the ending was superb!!!! I'm sorry that there isn't another book to read about these three girls! I look forward to "Celeste".
Rating: Summary: Disappointment Review: I was disappointed by this current novel. I think the plots are catered to a very young crowd...I prefer the more "mature" versions of the previous books which were in a series with one main character. My other favorite author, Sherry A Mauro writes in the grand traditon of the "Andrews Gothic". Her new novel, Even Angels Fall will delight VC Andrews fans of all ages. I highly recommend her book!
Rating: Summary: Good read for troubled teens Review: If you are a parent of a troubled teen this series is a good one for them to read. Having a 16 year old daughter who was getting into trouble all the time, our family was thinking of putting her in a home because we couldn't handle her anymore. After she read this series she's come to realize that "the grass is not always greener on the other side."
Rating: Summary: Midnight Flight Review: Midnight Flight Pocket Publishing, 377pg., $16.77 V.C.Andrews ISBN 0-7434-2868-4 V.C.Andrews is an amazing author. This book is one of a serise. The first is Broken Wings. It tells us how Teal, Robin, and Phoebe got to where they are now in Midnight Flight. This story has adventure. People overcoming problems. Teal, Robin, and Phoebe are taken to a "school" for troubled girls. At this school is an Indian Medecine Man and three buddies. There called Milady one, two, and three. Phoebe tells the story in this book. It shows her fear and determination to be who she wants to become. You also see Teal, Robin, and Phoebe defeat everyone in thew end. The ending is both sad, chilling, and scary. Don't give up and don't let someone else take the creidit for what you have done good or bad. This is a good book I sugest you read both Midnight Flight and Broken Wings.

Rating: Summary: Think of "Maury" but set in the desert. Review: Midnight Flight to me was a "been there, done that" experience. The same story of wanna be bad girls sent away to cleanse their so-called evil ways and a doctor who thinks she is God and can help them. All these girls were doing was "crying for help". And by lashing out violently was not the smart way of doing it. I would have like to had more backround information regarding the "assistants" who made the heroines lives at the school a living hell. And the ending I found was sheer "Lifetime" television.
Rating: Summary: Disturbing Review: Phoebe, Robin and Teal are sent to Dr Foreman's School for Girls for behavioural correction. But there's something very disturbing about the place and the people... and the matter of the frightening Ice Room. Slow to start, but otherwise a great read. (A)
Rating: Summary: adds a little extra Review: Phoebe, Robin, and Teal - who are they? They are the three main characters of the new novel Midnight Flight, the second book of the Broken Wing series written by V. C. Andrews. This book follows the same pattern of the V.C. Andrews novels, but adds a little extra to lead the reader in. I like this book. It was a very different setting that hasn't been covered by any others books I've read. Also, this book talks about rehabilitation of mental and psychological states, which is one reason the girls get sent to Dr. Forman's School for Girls. This is the school nobody would every want to be sent to. No other school is quite like it. For one thing, it's in the desert where there's not anyone else for miles. Also, this is a place where the girls have to do very outlandish things. What are the girls to do? Do they really have a choice? I enjoyed the descriptions and wording throughout the book.
