Review: The writer has a great way of telling the story and including scriptures from the bible. The characters are so real that I hated for the book to end. The ending was not your typical happy ending; the message was powerful and true to life.

Review: This is a mavelous christian fiction novel. Once I started reading I couldn't stop. I laughed, cried and felt the pain that Kyla and Jefferson faced. I admire Jefferson for not giving up on his marriage and turning to the Lord for guidance, strength and support. Alexia was a true friend to Kyla. Victoria, you are a very talented author. I can't wait to read the sequal. Be Blessed!

Summary: MUST READ
Review: I read Temptations for my book club and could not put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were so real to me. I have always struggled with forgiveness but after reading this book I was able to forgive two people and move on with my life. I am ALWAYS quick to put down the man but Jefferson really tried to save his marriage and I admire that. Thank you so much Victoria for this wonderful novel!

Review: Simply Wonderful! A Must Read! I've NEVER sympathized with a man that cheated. Suprising even myself, I was actually on the man's side and found myself rooting for him...(and was almost mad at Kyla for being so difficult). When God is for you, who can be against you? A Great Book.

Summary: Great First Novel
Review: The story of Kayla & Jefferson Blake was an expectionally good read. This was the first christian (fiction) novel that I have read. And I must say that I was not disappointed. I am even more pleased that the characters were African American.The story was well put together and nicely developed. I look forward to reading the sequel to this novel.

Summary: An inspirational book that reveals hope inspite of....
Review: From the beginning to the end, I was sinking into this book like I was in sinking into quick sand. The book was so vividly written that I felt like I had a front row seat. The characters in this book were brought to life by the outstanding writing style of the author. Kyla's trial was definitely one of great disappointment, but I was impressed to see that she kept God first. Jefferson continued to trust God even though he did something wrong. Their situation worked out for the good and that is just how God works in the lives of his children. Victoria, you did an outstanding job. May you continue to allow God to navigate in every area of your life.

Review: This author has a way with storytelling. The book keeps you on you feet and you can't wait to find out what will happen to Kyla and Jefferson's marriage. You even feel for the other woman. The best characteristic about the book is the fact it was written by a Christian...it's nice to know there are some romantics left.

Summary: Great Book - I can't wait to read more from this author!
Review: Temptations is a great story. It reminds me that being married and committed to someone is a great honor that can't and shouldn't be taken lightly. Kyla and Jefferson have a wonderful marriage. So wonderful that others such as Kyla's best friend Jasmine, of all people, just couldn't stand it. It's a shame when someone that you think would be supporting your happiness is instead so jealous and envious that their only thought is to destroy. We all know a Jasmine type. I met this author at her book signing in Sacramento - (Thanks Victoria for Coming up to Sac Town and supporting Shari at Books In Color). The author is a sweety and oh so wholesome like the character of Kyla. She really showed her writing skills by developing a character such as that evil Jasmine. I know the author doesn't have an evil bone in her body and therefore had difficulty relating/writing a truly evil character. Anytime a book provokes emotion with me, I know it's well written. A very enjoyable novel. I can't wait to read more from this author.

Review: I happened to catch this book review in Upscale magazine. I ordered the book, and I must say, I was not disappointed. I have been through a similar situation(still going through it),and I gave my copy to another Christian friend going through the same thing... Folks, I urge you, read the Book!!! it's relevent, true, entertaining, and good!!

Review: This book was wonderful. I finished it in one day I just could not put it down. Every married woman should read this book. I really enjoyed this book because there were no foul language, just a pure, christian, enjoyable novel. Something we need more of today. You will truly miss out on a good book if you don't get this one !!!!
