Summary: Absolutely Wonderful
Review: This story draws you in, that you actually feel what is happening. I could not put this book down. There are so many things that relate to everyones life in one way or another. You can feel the weaknesses in our lives & our strengths that come from knowing Jesus. It is definitely a keeper!

Summary: Rivers' writing touched me.
Review: Thank you, Francine Rivers, for writing a book that changed my life. I have never been so inspired. "The Last Sin Eater" was an inspiration from the first page to the last. Thank you for daring to take such a bold step in the world of Christian fiction. Your book is truly unique and completely awe-inspiring.

Summary: Wonderful story!
Review: I have long said that Francine Rivers is the best of the best in the Christian historical romance genre. Sin Eater takes her to a new level. What a wonderful, insightful novel. The depth of character development and the beautiful simplicity of the plot is stunning. Beautiful story written by a beautiful lady. This one's gonna win the gold!

Summary: I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. IT'S A GREAT READ!
Review: I appreciate Francine Rivers quality of writing so much. She has a way of pulling you into the story and creating characters that are believable. Cadi Forbes lives in an isolated valley in the Smoky Mountains in the 1800's. She is a little girl that has a great burden and sorrow in her life and no where to turn. This captivating tale leads you in an exciting adventure of hope. I can't wait for the next Francine Rivers book. Everyone I have read has been great.

Summary: Power, suspense, and truth! This book has it all.
Review: This book is different from Ms. Rivers' previous novels for the CBA, but it is wonderful all the same. This story sneaks up on you, drawing you deeper and deeper into an ancient legend. Only truth can break the chains that have bound a community for many years. While I am not usually a fan of first person narratives, this book is an exception. I loved the characters. Give yourself a treat, and read this book.

Summary: It's just as good as I'd hoped
Review: I was the first reviewer (here at Amazon.com) for this book, and then I said that I was sure it was going to be good. It was. Well worth the money I spent on it. I've made up my mind to buy all of Francine Rivers' books instead of having to get them from the library. Her books are the only books that I feel the desire to read and reread over and over again. I have favorite parts in all her books, and always love to go back to read them. I am in awe at her writing talent and hope that I become as good someday.

Summary: From Behind the Scenes...
Review: I don't suppose it's quite fair to review my mothers book, but I still can't get over how successful she's become, and the impact she has on her readers. I will guarantee that if you like her previous work with Tyndale, you won't be dissapointed with this book. I know for a fact that she was happy with the way it turned out, and had a good time writing it. A lot of love and research went into this book, (as with everthing she writes)and the final product is good one.

Summary: I love her so much, I'm already getting the book!
Review: I LOVE THIS WOMAN'S WRITING!!!!! If you've never read ANY of her works, you have to read A Voice In The Wind and the rest of the series. I am totally in love with that series. It is so romantic, sweet, sensual (in a good way), and tragic that it's one of the only series that I read over and over and over and over again. I LOVE IT!!!! This book will be as good or better than I'm expecting; and I don't even know what the book's about! But I'm still waiting very patiently for it. :-)

Summary: I was blown away by this book
Review: I saw the title and just couldn't imagine what it really meant. Then when I started to read it, I understood. This whole concept fascinated me. As I got into the characters and their live, a few things were left unspoken and that really got my full attention. I couldn't put the book down to I got the full story about everything. I truly enjoyed the ending!!! I cried and laughed and cried some more with this book. I felt drawn to each of the characters and what they went through. I feel like if they were real life folk...we would be kindred spirits. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a little downhome life.

Summary: Scary title, incredible read
Review: What on earth is a Sin Eater?!!! Those were my thoughts when pondering whether or not to order this book. I'm so glad I got past my scepticism, though, because this book ministered to me. It is a masterwork of storytelling and imagination. Count me a "ditto," to Mary Griffith from Fla's review.
