Rating: Summary: Started off good and then ended with a fizzle Review: This book losts its appeal about 1/2 of the way into it.
It is about a woman named Ella who ran away from her home when she was a teenager to marry Buddy. He later died, but before he died they had a child, Bailey. Ella writes letters to her mother every day and lies about what she does for a living, and how she is living. Her older sister Terrell dies while going to visit her lover. The mother is devistated, because she was the sister who was "perfect".
She is called back to her parents house for her Mother's birthday and befriends her sisters husband. They eventually fall in love and move in together.
This wasn't the best book I ever read, and it is certainly one of the worst.
