Review: To be honest, as the first book read by the recently formed literary club at my school, I was skeptical as to how good Clara's mom (Mrs. Valtorta) would be as a writer. By the second chapter, any doubts that I had about Mrs. Valtorta's credibility were gone. The characters are rich and full of life. It was a very easy to read book. The pages flew by with excitement and intrigue at every turn. I highly reccomend this book to anyone who knows what its like to be around their family.
