Review: I read for a living, so reading for pleasure is now, unfortunately, not the most appealing. I have turned to Audio Books, and what a joy they have been. I'm particularly thrilled to have "read" God on a Harley. In short, it changed my life, much the same as it has for the reviewers before me, and I've recommended it to all my friends. If you're not a big reader or feel you just don't have the time, check out the audio version. You'll find yourself not wanting to get out of the car so you can finish the chapter!

Summary: Not to be passed up
Review: I read this book after a family member died and I was really depressed and angry. Then my Mom told me about the book and did it open my eyes. This book changed the way I thought. I read it in one night, and cried through the entire thing. But, it really touched me and made me a more spiratual person.

Summary: it's just ok
Review: I really thought I might connect with this book, but unfortunately it fell way flat of my expectations. I am 37, going through a divorce and wanting a career change. On the plus side, I'd love someday to be a writer but never thought I had the talent. Now I know that talent is not needed! The message of the book was ok...but that's all...ok. There are so many other books (parables and allegories) that say what this one did so much better. I'm amazed at all the 5 stars.

From the moment I received the book I couldn't put it down. The cover says it all "IF YOU'VE EVER HAD A BROKEN HEART...." read this wonderful book. It really helps you understand yourself and makes you realize that you can learn to love by learning & loving yourself first.

Summary: This book changed the way I approach living my life.
Review: My 32-year-old sister lent me this book to read over Christmas - our first Christmas without our mother, who died recently of cancer. I am 36, and at a crossroads in my life as I consider career options, children, etc. I found this book compelling and uplifting, despite the fact that in the beginning, I did not particularly care for the author's style. By the end, I was hooked by the message, and it's been rolling around in my mind ever since. I've enjoyed discussing it with my sister, and there are four women friends I'd like to buy it for - immediately!

Summary: "Joe" Even Comes Abroad!
Review: One does not have to be female to appreciate this excellent encouraging novel by Ms. Joan Brady, right? I am a Japanese male graduate student and first found this novel in Japanese translation a month and a half ago. No other book finding I have done can be better, more dramatic and successful than this one. Since then I always carry the book with me to read on bus; in fact, I have reread more than five times, which motivated me to order the audio version (besides, I was looking for some story-telling audio for my English learning). During listening to the two cassette tapes, the only time I stood up and got back to the real world was when I replace the tapes for the second half of the story. Oh, the one and only frustration I have on this novel is... in my humble English I cannot express the whole joy I got from the story! Now it is time to order the original English version to fully appreciate it. In whatever language you read, I trust that you will love the novel. Thank you, Ms. Brady, Christine and "Joe".
