Summary: A so so love story
Review: The first part of the story , when Allison takes in her hand Ann's life so Ann can get into surgery is fine and funny, how Allison made all the thinkable mistakes she can done to her sister's fiance and after that, fix them, will keep you in the book, but when everybody knows that Allison was Ann and vice versa, and Allison went with Spencer in his yacht and all the do is kissing and kissing the book goes boring and boring, and the end is a love story's typical end.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good erotic nighttime read
Review: The first Sandra Brown book I read is the more recent Envy which I found to be a great book. I only realize now after reading the description of the author on the last page of this book that she started out as a romance novel writer. Was I in for a pleasant surprise! I had been reading a string of action-suspense books from Jonathan Kellerman and Robert Ludlum the past few weeks.

In many ways, this book accomplishes what it set out to do. Plotwise it's very simple. It's about two identical twins who couldn't be more different from one another that switch places for a few days. All hell breaks loose when a friend comes to visit Ann's fiance. This friend falls in love with the ersatz twin, Allison, who is a socially awkward researcher in a lab. In the end, this friend (Spencer) makes a woman out of her and gives her the most precious gift a woman could ask for -- a child. There are of course the requisite last minute conflicts that hint at a bad ending, but the reader should note that Sandra Brown likes happy endings. (She hasn't strayed yet.)

This is an easy read (200+ pages in nice 12pt. font). I recommend this book as a nighttime read for those needing some stimulation.

Summary: Ghastly
Review: Thin plot, non-believable characters and flawed science. Take a long walk on a nice day if you want to get a warm and fuzzy feeling. This book won't do it.

Summary: Dear God... I never knew a book could be so horrible!
Review: This is my first book from Sandra Brown and well... it makes me not want to read any of her other work. Yeah, I heard she's a real good author and all, but this book just put me off. Ok, so the beginning started out pretty interesting, despite the characters being extremely and almost disbelievably shallow. But when Spencer began persuading "Ann" to leave her fiance, geez, i was about ready to throw this book across the room. But that wasn't the lease of it, suddenly, Allision is in love with him? Excuse me? Sorry? I think I completely missed something here. She met him what? 3 days ago? But I continued reading it, God knows why.. and I don't believe I ever had such a strong urge to throw a book across the room. So all and all, I thought this book was dreadful and even horribly written. No plot line, no depth, and the dialogue? Don't even get me started...

Summary: Too Shallow
Review: This story is so much like the ones we read when we were children or teens. The plot was simple and predictable and the characters were nothing new. I finished the book but was not intrigued with it.

Summary: Great
Review: This was great, regarding twins who trade places. I read it in one day. I recommend this highly.

Summary: A fast read
Review: Thursday's Child was a good read if you want a simple romance. I read it in a few hours and thought it was pretty good. It's not like most of the Brown books I read and I would try to find it used if possible.

Summary: dreadful
Review: What a horrible book. I was hoping for an unhappy ending because I just hated these people for boring me to death. I got it on audio and I went through the last tape in 5 minutes by fast forwarding through most of it. Unfortunately it was Sunday, the rental store was closed and my other option (on the radio) was sports which I hate. So I gave it 1 star, it was better (but not much) than sports.

Summary: A Pleasant Surprise
Review: When I first start reading this book. I thought I was going to read a another book similiar to The Switch since it was also about twins. But I couldn't been more wrong not only did the story have a very good plot involving Allison and Spenser which was very well done as well realistic. I really became involved in the story Very well done Sandra Brown.
