Summary: If you're looking for fluff...
Review: ...you've found it here. I read this book in one day while traveling. Started it on a cross-country flight and finished it in my hotel room that evening. The story is fairly well done, however like one of the previous reviewers I agree that Spencer's character should have seen through the "switch" plot and not been so surprised by it. The story was very predictable but perfect "fluff" for reading while traveling.

Summary: Literary Lackluster
Review: Can she write? Apparently so, but this latest from Ms. Brown seems written by rote. My main objection to it, however, is that the characters are so one-dimensional and unreal. The plot, too, is weak, which could be overlooked if not for the characters. My worst fear is that the world she describes might actually exist. Still, for a light and mindless distraction, this book is perfect and quickly forgettable.

Summary: SANDRA BROWN, WHAT CAN I SAY???SHALLOW, BUT FUN!!!!

Summary: spicy
Review: I almost bought this book in hardcover - simply because I share the herione's name, and Allison's are usually pretty smart. I'm glad I waited until the paperback - the wallet pain was lessened. As other reviewers have noted, this was a reprint of an earlier work, the plot wasn't credible, and the characters weren't very intelligent (although Allison was made out to the be brainy one). I just couldn't bring myself to give a book with my namesake a '1'.

Summary: ANOTHER SUCCESS!
Review: I have been reading Sandra Brown since 7th grade and this book is in my top 10. When I first started reading it, I personally thought it was like another book I read of hers, but as I continued reading the plot got more interesting. Unlike her other books, this book wasn't focus on just sex, but love making and trust. I recommend this book because at some points in the book you can actually feel those moments when they feel excitement or nervousness. All I can say is that every book I have read of Sandra Brown I just fall in love with.

Summary: A romantic quick read
Review: I have read other books by Sandra Brown and have always enjoyed her writing--knowing that it's well done but not thick with plot and mystery. This novel was about twins trading places for a few days-----two women who were completely different in every way except in their looks. Having lived with twin girls in nursing school, I know that this is very easily done----it's especially easy when someone meets them for the first time and doesn't "know" them as well as close friends would. I found this story to be believable with a little different twist on it----Allison finding romance and love in an unlikely man who first thought that she was Annie.
I must admit, however, that I was quite irritated when Spencer was so persistent and intense when he was trying to get "Ann" to leave Davis for him-----when it was actually Allison---who was not the one engaged to Davis. I find it hard to swallow that any many would be that heavy into a pursuit of his best friend's fiance. I think most decent men would be a little bit more subtle. I also thought at the time that perhaps he had caught on to the thought that this was the "other" twin----after he was told she had an identical twin. I thought the portrayal of Spencer as such a "wolf" was not too realistic. And then to have him turn around and become such a romantic, so suave----hard to fathom.
I read this book in just a couple of hours----a very fast read. It didn't have much of a plot, no mystery, no deaths----just pure romance and love. A fun book when you want to "escape" for a few hours.

Summary: Not her best book!
Review: I have read quite a few of Sandra Brown's books. This one didn't do anything but frustrate you. I know she was trying to help her sister Annie keep the secret of her breast surgery from her huband to be but when things got heated I kept saying just tell them the truth already!!!! There wasn't much of a story line except for Allison playing hard to get and teasing Spencer constantly. He finally gets to have her and it ends nicely. Easy reading but just not her best work.

Summary: Bathroom Material
Review: I have to agree with the reviewers, this novel by Sandra Brown was extremely boring. Like others, I found myself passing pages to get to the end. Even put it in the bathroom because it only held my interest momentarily. It reminded me a prank that high school twins would play on their boyfriends. It was not highly the style that I am accustomend to when reading Brown's writing so this novel was a complete flop.

Summary: cute story
Review: I have twin daughters, which is why I bought this book and wanted to read it.
The story was cute during the first half, but had too much kissing and sex and petting in the second half for me.
I am not fond of this type of story, but if you are a romance story fan, then this book is for you.
At times, a bit far fetched but a real intersting storyline.
