Summary: OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS BOOK!
Review: I usually like reading book from James Patterson and Stephen King. But my roomate gave me several books to read and 'The Root of All Evil' happened to be one of them. Calling this book a page turner is an under statement. It took me three days to read this book and I only slept for one of those days. Drama is especially in good books, and if you love drama, then this is the book. The only thing I hated about the book was the teaser in the back of the book. The teaser only gives you one chapter from her upcoming sequel to the book. I can't for the sequel. If you love to read, I suggest this book because it much much better than a tv show or movie.

Summary: The Root of All Evil
Review: I'm an active reader and this book was really good. Some people may think that it is a little far-fetched, but I thought that it was very realistic. It is a very good book that has many twists and turns to it. I very much enjoyed this book and I am waiting for the follow-up book to be released.

Summary: A Must Read
Review: If you enjoyed Dollar Bill, you will love The Root of All Evil. You will not be able to put this book down. Ms. Jossel has created real characters & you will want to know more about them. It was like watching your best friends life unfold. It shows the lengths some will go to to have it all. It also shows that there is a price to pay for our actions. This book has so many twist & turns that you'll not be able to put it down. You will be screaming for more. This does not come across as a work of fiction, this is the life of best friends, Klarke, Breezy & Jeva. You will be able to relate to these women, there joy, vulnerability & pain. I cannot wait for the sequel.

Summary: engaging contemporary tale
Review: In her thirties in Toledo, Ohio, Klarke Taylor has not recovered from her former husband Harris leaving her for his cousin Tionne three years ago. He left her to raise their two preadolescent children almost alone. Depressed, financially, she is in worse shape as Harris had kept them in a comfortable lifestyle for the thirteen years they were married. Her parents are dead so she cannot turn to them, her bills are piling up as she is behind with all of them and the collectors harass her at home and at her job at Kemble and Steiner Printing.

Desperate, Klarke and her friends Breezy and Jeva devise a scheme to trap a wealthy male. Through her printing firm's publishing customers, the trio targets bestselling author Reo Laroque, a bachelor with women desiring him, but seeks a virtuous woman although has one female Meka in his life. He enjoys exchanging email with KAT (Klarke) and thinks she is the one when they meet. The plan succeeds except that at every turn the trio gets deeper down a path that started unethical, but turned deadly.

This engaging contemporary tale focuses on lust and love battling for supremacy against gold fever as the desperate threesome pulls a swindle to obtain money from a nice mark. The story line is character driven as readers see the hopelessness that pushes Klarke from her normally principled behavior into an anxious con artist and its impact on her two young children. The support cast plays major roles as Joylynn M. Jossel makes the case that the ROOF OF ALL EVIL is not money, but people's reckless deeds to obtain loot at high personal costs.

Summary: The Almighty Dollar!
Review: Klarke Taylor, a twice divorced mother of two, decides that her lifestyle - working and trying to make ends meet - isn't for her. The answer to all her problems and a secured life is to find a man with money. She comes up with a plan and sets the wheels in motion. Is her plan foolproof? Does she get more than what she bargained for? And what happens when her dirty little secret is revealed?
This is a great book. I read it in only two days. It has a little bit of everything - from baby momma drama, murder, and revenge to a boss with jungle fever!
Joylynn - girl you put your foot in this one! Eagerly anticipating the sequel "When Souls Mate."

Summary: Mediocre
Review: The author had good intentions when she wrote this book. However, the story did not have a continuous flow and too many ends were left open. The book trudged along, not really sparking much interest. Not to mention that the spelling and grammatical errors were appalling, and that was a major turn-off for me. You can't hope to be in the ranks of "bestselling author" if you present your readers with the work of an 8-year old, and even then, an 8-year old would easily be able to spot the errors before the manuscript went to print. Imagine what the theme of this book would turn out to be like in the hands of Eric Jerome Dickey or Zane for that matter. Explosive, that's what!

Summary: Absolutely Awesome!
Review: The beginning of the book did not just jump out at me, however, after reading past the first chapter I was hooked. I read this book in half a day. There were some many twists and turns that kept me wholeheartedly interested. I did not want the book to end. I am patiently waiting on the sequel. I just hope that I can find something to hold my attention until then. Thanks Joy!
