Rating: Summary: A Tale of betrayal from a Christian perspective. Review: This book is an inspirational novel that gives the reader hope that all things work out for the good of them who love the Lord. Ms. Thomas even provided an added twist with an conniving scheming business partner with her own agenda. The reader will be immediately drawn into the lives of Tori and Jake Madison following the death of their fifteen month old baby girl Tiffany. Tiffany died three days after Tori walked in on Jake and his business partner Sheila in bed together. Feeling guilty for the affair and the death of his young daughter, Jake disappeared for a year. Upon his return he quietly sought his wife to find out if she had forgiven him and wanted to reconcile. However, he absolutely refused to attend marriage counseling with her to help resolve their problems. Any attempts at reconciliation were undermined by an outsider. Sometimes we see the good in everyone and are blinded by their deception and schemes to build a wedge between others. Through constant prayer and the help of the church, as well as other God fearing Christians events were turned around. This book kept on the edge of my chair trying to figure out what could possibly happen next. The author also provided some very descriptive information about the scenery in the Carolinas. Pick up a copy of the book and see how Christians sometimes deal with their issues.

Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK WAS OFF THE CHAIN!!!!!! Review: THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING FROM START TO FINISH! I READ IT IN 1 DAY AND I HAVE SINCE READ IT 2 MORE TIMES. I REALLY FELT LIKE THE CHARACTERS WERE REAL AND IT WAS VERY ENCOURAGING AND AT TIMES FRUSTRATING TO READ BECAUSE IT ALMOST FELT AS IF THOSE THINGS THAT TORI WENT THROUGH WERE HAPPENING TO ME. JAKE IS A VERY LUCKY MAN BECAUSE IF TORI DID NOT HAVE TRUE LOVE FOR HIM AND FAITH IN GOD HE WOULD STILL BE IN A WHOLE LOT OF MESS. AND TO ALL THE SHEILA'S OF THE WORLD, BEWARE BECAUSE ALL WOMEN AREN'T THAT NICE! TRULY INSPIRING! THIS BOOK IS NOW BEING PASSED AROUND TO MY FRIENDS AT WORK, WE'RE NOW AT 8 READERS AND COUNTING!

Rating: Summary: Good Review: This book has a great story line. I enjoyed getting into the characters. A reality that love can endure when you keep the faith. God works all things for the good of those who love Him.
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Book Review: I am writing this review, before I finish reading the book. Now you know that must be a "Good" Book. I am not one to read a book in one sitting, I like to savior the moment, drag things out, but not with this book, I had to fight to put it down. This book is so good, that I am now checking what other books the author has written.
Rating: Summary: The Power of a Praying Wife Review: This is a must read by Jacquelin Thomas. She really brought to reality the power of prayer in a relationship. Jake and Tori were really on the verge of giving up on each other, but that little bit of faith that Tori held on to is what saved her marriage. This a tale of true love. No matter what the test God will see you through. "What God has joined together, let no man tear asunder." Ladies when you read this please do whatever it takes not to become the "Shelia" in any mans life.
Rating: Summary: Superb Christian Fiction! Review: Okay, it's been a while since I posted a remark about a book. However, for this beautifully written tale I just had to take a moment to express how I was totally pulled into the story from the first page. I have not read a more explosive first page since I read "Sugar" by Bernice L.McFadden. Remember the line, "Jude is dead". When I picked the book up I had all intentions of reading a few chapters a night. However, I just couldn't put it down. So I read it in one sitting. I haven't done that in a long time. Jake and Tori had a lot to overcome and what excited me is the fact that "real love never fails" as quoted in the following scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV) "Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends;..." Take a bow Ms. Thomas, in this case it's all right to toot your own horn. BEEP! BEEP! I give "The Prodigal Husband" by Jacquelin Thomas "two thumbs up, a flute of sparkling apple cider, and a bowl of strawberries with whip cream."
Rating: Summary: The Plot Thickens... Review: The Prodigal Husband is a must read. The Author combines romance and christian beliefs to create one well written book. I might add that the television advertisement was a great move. The title of the book is perfect. Jake is the Prodigal Husband who strays from his wife Tori. Sheila is the conniving business partner who succeeds in tempting Jake to commit adultery. I was in shock at how devious Sheila was and how no act was beneath her...if it would break up Jake's marriage. A tradgedy of the worst kind also weighs heavily on Jake and Tori's marriage survival. The plot thickens to enhance this well crafted novel with a long kept secret as to why Aunt Kate does not care for the Madison men; Nicholas...the handsome writer who carries a torch for Tori and Charlene's strained relationship with Jake's brother.
