Review: *Remembrance* A tale of two people and how special they were and are to each other. *Remembrance* A love so deep that even time cannot make them forget. *Remembrance* A story that tells us that each of us is only half of what we should be, and that we still have the other half to search for. *Remembrance* A book with hardly any love-making scenes, but pages filled with love. This is a geniuine love story, naught less. *Remembrance* A deep sense of love, lost and happiness after reading this book is what you will feel. This will definitely make you cry, laugh, love and ache with want of the other half that you will name every guy you meet Talis and you yourself as Callasandra. *Remembrance* A story that will have you walking on clouds for months. (Believe me, I read it ages ago and I still name every cute guy I meet Talis). This is my second review for this book. My first review did this book no justice. *Remembrance* A book to be read on Sunday to chase away the Monday blues!

Review: Besides 'A knight in shining armour', this is another great romance classic. I fell in love with this book even without a single member of the wonderfully big Montgomery family in the book itself. It made me laugh in the front, cry in the middle, and laugh and cry at the end. I read the book some time after the beginning of 1997, and up to now, I am still in a 'lovey-dovey' mood. I have re-read it tons of times and I look forward to any other books that challenge this fantastic story

Summary: Jude Deveraux's best to date
Review: This is the best romance novel I have ever read. And believe me when I say I've read a lot of romance novels. Jude Deveraux manages to take several different stories in different time periods and make it seem so real that by the end of the book I was crying; partially because it was over and partially because I was wondering, "Where was my perfect man?"

Review: I simply adored this book!!! I am a very big Jude Deveraux fan, and this book started my whole obsession for this authors work. I loved how she was so clever with her writing. I am into a lot of New Age ideas, especially past lives. If you are too, this is a book that you cannot miss! You will laugh and you will cry, then you will want to read it again!!

Summary: part of a good story inside some hackneyned formula
Review: if you are a first time reader of her work, well maybe this is not the one to start with unless you are very, very persistent and can wade through the first two parts of the book which are not very endearing. Miss Deveraux has succomed to formula writing and bandwagonism( with this reincarnation plot). She should have skipped this part, and just kept to the true story line of "Tallis and Callie". Just when, I was about to put down this book, I found their story. I was engrossed and captivated. Here was a believeable story, with characters I cared about. Howerever as I was waiting for their conflict to be resolved, I was rudely wrenched away and taken to some stranger who had appeared earlier in the book. I was not amused since I really had not bonded with them for the brief time I had seen them(ie part two). To add insult to injury, we were further tramautised when we came back to the original character in the book, some neurotic writer who frankly had got on my nerves with her silly behaviour.

Review: This was the first book by Jude Deveraux that I had ever read and boy was I pleasantly surprised.I was also deeply regretful that it took me this long to find out about her! At least now, when I'm waiting for Judith McNaught to turn out a new book, I'll have her friend, Jude Deveraux, to read!

Summary: Remembrance.....touching and delightful!
Review: After reading "Legend", I searched for another time travel romance written by Deveraux. Although "Remembrance" wasn't quite the same, I still enjoyed the book. The concept of 'soulmates' has always intrigued me. Deveraux has the intelligence and the stanima to make even the weakest believer believe. This story of a modern woman trying to regain a love she has lost in a past life is touching. Some may say the ending, even the beginning, was weak, but I think it was just right. My hat's off to Deveraux who did a fine job, once again, with time travel. I would read anything she writes involving the subject!

Summary: What a connection
Review: Ok, let me just start out by saying that I usually give myself about 3 to 4 days to finish off a romance novel. It took me just about 2 days to finish Remembrance. For me, I utterly and completely loathed the idea of having to put this book down to eat, do chores lol, and to sleep.
Alot of romance novels that I have read are very predictable and to the point. I loved that with this book, that it kept me guessing and that I truly felt a sincere deepness intertwined within the story. If you are one who is interested in past lives and soulmates and like to see how other people think it works, this is a great read. If you like smart romance stories where the characters aren't thinking about just sex then this is also for you. Overall, this is a book that captured my mind and heart and I know that I will revisit it over and over again.

Review: I am not really an avid fan of romance novels. This is the first one I've read and I like it very much. The story reminded me of my favorite movie, Wuthering Heights. The characters were all very defined and strong. The plot was wonderful. I really admire this work.
