Summary: A Fun, fast read
Review: Even as a man, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is very funny...I read it in less than a day!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A fun read
Review: Bridget Jone's diary is a great summer read - even for us 40 somethings. Loved the British dialect. The only thing that detracted a bit was the happy ending, but this is one of those books where the reader is happy, too.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Ridiculous
Review: For anyone concerned about the "dumbing-down" of humanity, here it is in all its glory. This is a pointless, plotless, poorly-written excuse for a novel. And although it does provide a few chuckles, it's repetitive, shallow and utterly insipid.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: very easy to read
Review: This is my first book to finish to read in english!! It was so fuuuuun!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: For girls of any age, and the men who want to love them
Review: If you have ever been a teenage girl, a young, unmarried twentyish, thiryish or even old married fiftyish girl, this book is for you. The things that happen to Bridget have or will have happened to all women. You cannot help but see yourself through Bridget's eyes!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: LOVED IT!!
Review: After reading all the reviews of this book, I must agree with the majority and give it five stars. Anyone who saw fit to give it any less obviously does not "get it". As obsessive and neurotic as Bridget can be, many women, myself included, can completely relate. She's not my hero, but she made me feel like someone out there understands what I go through every day. Anyone out there who didn't like this book or could not finish it does not deserve to read it or even own it! It was the best book I've read in a long time and one I'll read many times more.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best read of the summer!
Review: It took me one day by the pool to laugh my way through this book. Bridget Jones's Diary is an excellent beach or pool read. Scarily enough, I found myself reading exact conversations or occurrences that had happened to me or my other late 20-something female friends. This is painfully honest, funny and competely entertaining. Can't wait for the sequel!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A very funny book!
Review: I haven't enjoyed a book as much in a long time. This book was a great read. Perfect reading for a beach day this summer!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Perfect Summer Read
Review: I have heard people say that Bridget Jones' Diary is the British Ally McBeal. NOT TRUE!

While AMcB is irritating and degrading to women, BJ's Diary is entertaining and supportive of women and all we go through.

It's an easy read that will make you laugh out loud.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A lovely, warm, funny REAL person in a vastly enjoyable pack.
Review: After Tom Sharpe,Helen Fielding is the first contemporary British author i have really enjoyed.Bridget's escapades are very real and will i think touch a chord in the heart of every 30s singleton in the world.I am 30 plus working though not single but i do too feel the need to be girlish without feeling guilty. With Bridget this becomes very possible.I loved this book and have been telling any woman i have met in the last month to read it too.
