Summary: LOL til the end!
Review: This is one of the funniest books I've read. Helen Fielding brought a character that we can all relate and feel some of her pain. Although Bridget sometimes lacked confidence toward everything, that is what makes this book special. We as women are insecure, whether we want to admit it or not---we worry about our weight, might not have good vices, and have dated a jerk from time to time. I really did feel that Bridget Jones is more like me in most of the writing.

It is hilariously funny and well-written, one of the books I take with me when I travel--- it is a must-have and a must-keep in my opinion. If you haven't read it, I suggest that you do!

Summary: Laugh out Loud
Review: This was such a relatable book. I laughed within the first 4 pages. I could easily see myself in these situations.

Summary: Bridget Jones Rules!
Review: For any woman who's jumped on the scale a thousand times a day or bought "special notebooks" to record daily calorie units this book rings home. Non-stop entertainment from first page to last!

Summary: Great, fast read - wonderfully witty, ascerbic humor!
Review: I really didn't think I'd like this one; it sounded so whiney and full of self-loathing. But, I had to see what all the fuss was about, and I'm so glad I did. From page one, I was hooked - what a great, fast read! Bridget's escapades are sure to provide a chuckle - and some reassurance - for 30-something "Singletons" everywhere.

Summary: One of my all time favorite books
Review: I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I had a hard time putting it down as I was always anxious to see how things would turn out for Bridget, her family and her friends. I am looking forward to reading more by Helen Fielding.

Summary: I didn't expect to like this book, but...
Review: You must read the entire book to really gain an appreciation of it. I read an excerpt from it and thought it was a bit trite, but when I got into the book I really enjoyed it. I agree with a previous reviewer that said that any woman can relate to Bridget Jones in one way or another. I found this book quite charming and honest. Some of the ways in which Bridget conveys things sound so absurd, but strangely realistic! A quick, light-hearted read.

Summary: All women can relate to this book in some way, what a laugh!
Review: Recommended by a friend, and now I have logged into Amazon to order a couple of copies for my friends. I was laughing with real tears by page 11, good fun, could not put it down - definitely one to recommend!

Summary: A great book!
Review: You think you have had embarassing moments in life? Bridgette has some of the most embarassing moments ever. Showing up to the party in a bunny costume! Argh! Well written and hysterical! A laugh out loud book.

Summary: "Bridget Jones" helps you to laugh at yourself!
Review: Being between the ages of 25 and 30+, one wonders what life is really about, who they really are, and why they do the things they do. "Bridget Jones" search for her own "truth" makes these inquiries normal and better yet, hysterical! We all tend to take ourselves too seriously, as we trudge through each day secretly ashamed of our obsessions, addictions, and plain old bad habits from which we can not escape. We beat ourselves up and wonder when we are going to "grow up" and become those "smug marrieds" who we both love and hate. When will we get over ourselves and our vices? As trivial as these selfish quests can seem, we all go through them before discovering ourselves completely (if we ever really do) We need books like "Bridget Jones" to feel "ok" and to laugh at our wackiness, and realize what motivates our so-called needs. "Bridget Jones" is sweet, comedic therapy for the 20-30 something

Summary: SIDE SPLITTINGLY FUNNY!
Review: This book would be appreciated by most anyone. A hilarious read. For anyone who thought "Am I the only one?", read this book. Bridget battles being single, addictions to cigarettes and alcoholic beverages, her weight, her overbearing mother, and career issues...you are sure to find part of yourself in Bridget Jones. Great holiday gift.
