Rating: Summary: More storyline Review: Chances Are ( Harlequin Temptation #79) by Barbara Delinsky Public-relations expert Liz Jerome treated all her clients with professional detachment. But her new client, Donovan Grant, just wasn't having any. Instead he caught her off guard with his subtle come-ons and his humorous teasing. But being his playmate was not on Liz's agenda. She was determined to block his every move, to resist the sweet confusion he aroused in her. Then he kissed her, and the unexpected fire of his loving crumbled her defenses. Suddenly it wasn't a game anymore...
Rating: Summary: Not Much To It Review: Delinsky has done it again! Her style of writing puts her way above alot of authors. In this book starting out as co-workers soon turns to more....Alot of sizzle and chemistry.

Rating: Summary: Heart-wrenching! Review: The back cover reads: "Liz Jerome is an expert at public relations. Well, at least in business. But when she is hired to do some damage control for a company owned by Donovan Grant, the dividng line between professional and personal suddenly disappears. Donovan cathes her off guard with his subtle come-ons and his humorous teasing. But being his playmate isn't on Liz's agenda. She is determined to block his every move. to resist the sweet confusion her arouses in her. Donovan threatens her safe, isolated world, making her want things she can never have. But a painful, secret keeps Liz from trusting him, and yet only by taking a chance with Donovan will she begin to heal the past."
My personal review is that Chances Are is one of Barbara Delinsky's greatest books. In the beginning, Donovan is sweet and funny, your regular nice guy. As the book progresses, he becomes more human; he's confused at Liz's reluctance to do anything sexual. In the end he retaliates in, I guess the only way he knows how. There is a surprising plot twist at the end. I would recommend this book to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Not Much To It Review: This was the first book that I've read by Barbara Delinsky but I wasn't very impressed. If you're looking for a very quick beach read the book is alright, but there isn't much character development provided and the book drags on and on with the same sequence of events. The "suprise" at the end has been obvious throughout the novel. It is a simple quick read, but there's not much substance to it and when you're done you are left with close to nothing to consider.
