Rating: Summary: Consequences Review: Another great book by Cynthia Victor. Once you start this book you just can't put it down. You never know from one page to the next what exactly is going to happen. I've read all her books to date and can't recommend them enough. If you haven't read her, give her a try. You'll be hooked!

Rating: Summary: First Time Read Cynthia Victor Review: Consequences is the first book I've read by Cynthia Victor. Although this book started out fast at first, it slowed down to where it just seemed to drag on. It was one of those books that I could have read or left. It didn't impress me that much. I felt it skipped a lot of important information, such as Page and Simon's relationship. Who knows, maybe I was expecting more romance than this novel had to offer. All in all though I couldv'e left this book on the shelf.
Rating: Summary: Compelling! Review: From the moment I picked up "Consequences," I couldn't put it down. It was fun and sexy and engaging from the first page to the last. A must read!

Rating: Summary: compelling and fun Review: From the very first page, i was intrigued and engaged. I wanted to know what was going to happen to these characters. And the whole process of finding out was fun, exciting, and sexy. What a good story -- and told in a way that just keeps you involved at every page.
Rating: Summary: Entertaining tale Review: In Madison, Wisconsin, Claire Carlisle can no longer cope with her abusive husband Bennett. She decides to flee with her two beloved preschool daughters. However, Bennett must have already informed the preschool staff about her as they come out to stop her from abducting her two children. As the principal gets closer to Claire, four-year old Liza falls from the playground's jungle gym. With no time and no one to help her, a distraught Claire, knowing this is her last chance, flees with her two-year old Meredith, leaving Liza behind.Meredith now called Page happily grows up under the tender loving care of her mother, who starts a very successful hotel business. In New York City, Bennett raises Liza in a cold atmosphere seething with anger. When Page discovers her mother pleasantly lives an exciting life in Europe after deserting her years ago, she decides to enact revenge. Liza begins a campaign to replace Page in Claire's heart, using guilt as a powerful tool of retribution. Though she loves and cherishes both her daughters, a remorseful Claire may have found her missing child at the cost of the daughter she lovingly raised. On first appearance, CONSEQUENCES sounds identical to the plot of several TV movies. However, the talented Cynthia Victor refreshes the potentially trite tale. Instead of the siblings becoming immediate best buds that bring their parents back together, the sisters turn into rivals for their mother's affection. The amount of miscommunication and misinformation between the three lead females will leave the audience wondering how any of them can succeed at business. Still, sub-genre fans will enjoy this family drama filled with the CONSEQUENCES of life's difficult choices. Harriet Klausner
Rating: Summary: I couldn't put this book down! Review: No one writes female characters better than Cynthia Victor! Liza, Page and Claire collide in an intriguing web of love, betrayal and revenge. Victor's style is crisp and riveting as she skillfully weaves sibling rivalry, parental guilt and abandonment issues with romance, sex, intrigue, and the world of international high finance. I love all of Cynthia Victor's books, but this one is my favorite!
