Summary: Dead boring!
Review: I am a Katherine Stone fan and enjoyed some of her previous books (Twins, Carlton Club, Bel Air, etc). Home at Last is absolutely boring! I couldn't even bring myself to finish reading it! Thank God I rented the book, and I'm definitely going to return it! I think it's about time Katherine Stone took a sabbatical.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A fast, involving read
Review: I am a Katherine Stone fan and this was one of my favorites. Read it on a sunny weekend and you'll be transported. Galen was a complex character--I just ached for her. Wonderful read!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Book -- romantic AND suspenseful
Review: I couldn't put this book down. I got completely involved in both the love story and the mystery story. I really cared about the characters, and loved the way they cared about each other -- in a way that was so much more than sex.

Galen and Lucas felt real to me. Human. People I'd like to know.

Summary: Lame
Review: I have read all of Katherine Stone's books and was very disappointed in this one. I kept waiting for it to get "good" and it never happened. This was a very choppy, poorly thought out book. She must have had a deadline to reach and waited until the last minute to write the book. The rest of her books are so detailed and this simply was not.

Summary: This was supposed to be a romance novel?
Review: I just plowed through this book, not even believing what I was reading. The main characters Galen and Lucas had absolutely no warmth whatsoever, and the plot was very contrived. I just hope Julia's story is warmer and more romantic, but the excerpt didn't show much promise.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Boring, repetitive
Review: I kept wondering why I bought this book. BED OF ROSES was bad enough; so choppy, I didn't finish it. (I bought this book because of the beautiful cover.) I'm wishing booksellers would put a big B on the boring books, to alert readers to spend their money on something interesting.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not her best
Review: I like Katherine Stone's books as a rule, but I thought both of these characters were totally over written. The murderer did not seem plausible either. The ending was a real stretch. I've read Pearl Moon and I know she can write better than this.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fabulous, engrossing, couldn't put it down
Review: I loved both the hero and heroine in this book, and was completely involved in their emotions and the suspense in the story, too. I've shared it with several friends who have loved it too. I can't wait for the next one, Julia's story!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Wonderful Katherine Stone Love Story!
Review: I loved HOME AT LAST. Even the title was perfect. In finding each other, in finding love, Lucas and Galen were finally Home.

I'm really looking forward to A Midnight Clear.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Same as always. Nothing new and exciting
Review: I must say I like Katherine Stone and read her books. But I am also disappointed. They are always the same. She needs to do something different. Not put the characters "feelings" in a different type. In fact leave them out all together. Just get on with the story and let the reader draw their own "feelings".
